وَلَاتَطۡرُدِٱلَّذِينَيَدۡعُونَرَبَّهُمبِٱلۡغَدَوٰةِوَٱلۡعَشِيِّيُرِيدُونَوَجۡهَهُۥۖمَاعَلَيۡكَمِنۡحِسَابِهِممِّنشَيۡءٖوَمَامِنۡحِسَابِكَعَلَيۡهِممِّنشَيۡءٖفَتَطۡرُدَهُمۡفَتَكُونَمِنَٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ٥٢
Saheeh International

And do not send away those who call upon their Lord morning and afternoon, seeking His face [i.e., favor]. Not upon you is anything of their account and not upon them is anything of your account.1 So were you to send them away, you would [then] be of the wrongdoers.

وَلَاWala
تَطْرُدِtatrudi
ٱلَّذِينَallatheena
يَدْعُونَyadAAoona
رَبَّهُمrabbahum
بِٱلْغَدَوٰةِbialghadati
وَٱلْعَشِىِّwaalAAashiyyi
يُرِيدُونَyureedoona
وَجْهَهُۥ ۖwajhahu
مَاma
عَلَيْكَAAalayka
مِنْmin
حِسَابِهِمhisabihim
مِّنmin
شَىْءٍۢshayin
وَمَاwama
مِنْmin
حِسَابِكَhisabika
عَلَيْهِمAAalayhim
مِّنmin
شَىْءٍۢshayin
فَتَطْرُدَهُمْfatatrudahum
فَتَكُونَfatakoona
مِنَmina
ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَalththalimeena
وَٱذۡكُررَّبَّكَفِينَفۡسِكَتَضَرُّعٗاوَخِيفَةٗوَدُونَٱلۡجَهۡرِمِنَٱلۡقَوۡلِبِٱلۡغُدُوِّوَٱلۡأٓصَالِوَلَاتَكُنمِّنَٱلۡغَٰفِلِينَ٢٠٥
Saheeh International

And remember your Lord within yourself in humility and in fear without being apparent in speech - in the mornings and the evenings. And do not be among the heedless.

وَٱذْكُرWaothkur
رَّبَّكَrabbaka
فِىfee
نَفْسِكَnafsika
تَضَرُّعًۭاtadarruAAan
وَخِيفَةًۭwakheefatan
وَدُونَwadoona
ٱلْجَهْرِaljahri
مِنَmina
ٱلْقَوْلِalqawli
بِٱلْغُدُوِّbialghuduwwi
وَٱلْـَٔاصَالِwaalasali
وَلَاwala
تَكُنtakun
مِّنَmina
ٱلْغَـٰفِلِينَalghafileena
فَأَخَذَتۡهُمُٱلرَّجۡفَةُفَأَصۡبَحُواْفِيدَارِهِمۡجَٰثِمِينَ٩١
Saheeh International

So the earthquake seized them, and they became within their home [corpses] fallen prone.

فَأَخَذَتْهُمُFaakhathathumu
ٱلرَّجْفَةُalrrajfatu
فَأَصْبَحُوا۟faasbahoo
فِىfee
دَارِهِمْdarihim
جَـٰثِمِينَjathimeena
وَأَخَذَٱلَّذِينَظَلَمُواْٱلصَّيۡحَةُفَأَصۡبَحُواْفِيدِيَٰرِهِمۡجَٰثِمِينَ٦٧
Saheeh International

And the shriek1 seized those who had wronged, and they became within their homes [corpses] fallen prone

وَأَخَذَWaakhatha
ٱلَّذِينَallatheena
ظَلَمُوا۟thalamoo
ٱلصَّيْحَةُalssayhatu
فَأَصْبَحُوا۟faasbahoo
فِىfee
دِيَـٰرِهِمْdiyarihim
جَـٰثِمِينَjathimeena
قَالُواْيَٰلُوطُإِنَّارُسُلُرَبِّكَلَنيَصِلُوٓاْإِلَيۡكَۖفَأَسۡرِبِأَهۡلِكَبِقِطۡعٖمِّنَٱلَّيۡلِوَلَايَلۡتَفِتۡمِنكُمۡأَحَدٌإِلَّاٱمۡرَأَتَكَۖإِنَّهُۥمُصِيبُهَامَآأَصَابَهُمۡۚإِنَّمَوۡعِدَهُمُٱلصُّبۡحُۚأَلَيۡسَٱلصُّبۡحُبِقَرِيبٖ٨١
Saheeh International

They [the angels] said, "O Lot, indeed we are messengers of your Lord; [therefore], they will never reach you. So set out with your family during a portion of the night1 and let not any among you look back - except your wife; indeed, she will be struck by that which strikes them. Indeed, their appointment is [for] the morning. Is not the morning near?"

قَالُوا۟Qaloo
يَـٰلُوطُyalootu
إِنَّاinna
رُسُلُrusulu
رَبِّكَrabbika
لَنlan
يَصِلُوٓا۟yasiloo
إِلَيْكَ ۖilayka
فَأَسْرِfaasri
بِأَهْلِكَbiahlika
بِقِطْعٍۢbiqitAAin
مِّنَmina
ٱلَّيْلِallayli
وَلَاwala
يَلْتَفِتْyaltafit
مِنكُمْminkum
أَحَدٌahadun
إِلَّاilla
ٱمْرَأَتَكَ ۖimraataka
إِنَّهُۥinnahu
مُصِيبُهَاmuseebuha
مَآma
أَصَابَهُمْ ۚasabahum
إِنَّinna
مَوْعِدَهُمُmawAAidahumu
ٱلصُّبْحُ ۚalssubhu
أَلَيْسَalaysa
ٱلصُّبْحُalssubhu
بِقَرِيبٍۢbiqareebin
وَلَمَّاجَآءَأَمۡرُنَانَجَّيۡنَاشُعَيۡبٗاوَٱلَّذِينَءَامَنُواْمَعَهُۥبِرَحۡمَةٖمِّنَّاوَأَخَذَتِٱلَّذِينَظَلَمُواْٱلصَّيۡحَةُفَأَصۡبَحُواْفِيدِيَٰرِهِمۡجَٰثِمِينَ٩٤
Saheeh International

And when Our command came, We saved Shuʿayb and those who believed with him, by mercy from Us. And the shriek seized those who had wronged, and they became within their homes [corpses] fallen prone

وَلَمَّاWalamma
جَآءَjaa
أَمْرُنَاamruna
نَجَّيْنَاnajjayna
شُعَيْبًۭاshuAAayban
وَٱلَّذِينَwaallatheena
ءَامَنُوا۟amanoo
مَعَهُۥmaAAahu
بِرَحْمَةٍۢbirahmatin
مِّنَّاminna
وَأَخَذَتِwaakhathati
ٱلَّذِينَallatheena
ظَلَمُوا۟thalamoo
ٱلصَّيْحَةُalssayhatu
فَأَصْبَحُوا۟faasbahoo
فِىfee
دِيَـٰرِهِمْdiyarihim
جَـٰثِمِينَjathimeena
وَلِلَّهِۤيَسۡجُدُۤمَنفِيٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِوَٱلۡأَرۡضِطَوۡعٗاوَكَرۡهٗاوَظِلَٰلُهُمبِٱلۡغُدُوِّوَٱلۡأٓصَالِ۩١٥
Saheeh International

And to Allāh prostrates whoever is within the heavens and the earth, willingly or by compulsion, and their shadows [as well] in the mornings and the afternoons.

وَلِلَّهِWalillahi
يَسْجُدُyasjudu
مَنman
فِىfee
ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِalssamawati
وَٱلْأَرْضِwaalardi
طَوْعًۭاtawAAan
وَكَرْهًۭاwakarhan
وَظِلَـٰلُهُمwathilaluhum
بِٱلْغُدُوِّbialghuduwwi
وَٱلْـَٔاصَالِ ۩waalasali
وَقَضَيۡنَآإِلَيۡهِذَٰلِكَٱلۡأَمۡرَأَنَّدَابِرَهَٰٓؤُلَآءِمَقۡطُوعٞمُّصۡبِحِينَ٦٦
Saheeh International

And We conveyed to him [the decree] of that matter: that those [sinners] would be eliminated by early morning.

وَقَضَيْنَآWaqadayna
إِلَيْهِilayhi
ذَٰلِكَthalika
ٱلْأَمْرَalamra
أَنَّanna
دَابِرَdabira
هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِhaolai
مَقْطُوعٌۭmaqtooAAun
مُّصْبِحِينَmusbiheena
فَأَخَذَتۡهُمُٱلصَّيۡحَةُمُصۡبِحِينَ٨٣
Saheeh International

But the shriek seized them at early morning,

فَأَخَذَتْهُمُFaakhathathumu
ٱلصَّيْحَةُalssayhatu
مُصْبِحِينَmusbiheena
وَلَكُمۡفِيهَاجَمَالٌحِينَتُرِيحُونَوَحِينَتَسۡرَحُونَ٦
Saheeh International

And for you in them is [the enjoyment of] beauty when you bring them in [for the evening] and when you send them out [to pasture].

وَلَكُمْWalakum
فِيهَاfeeha
جَمَالٌjamalun
حِينَheena
تُرِيحُونَtureehoona
وَحِينَwaheena
تَسْرَحُونَtasrahoona
وَٱصۡبِرۡنَفۡسَكَمَعَٱلَّذِينَيَدۡعُونَرَبَّهُمبِٱلۡغَدَوٰةِوَٱلۡعَشِيِّيُرِيدُونَوَجۡهَهُۥۖوَلَاتَعۡدُعَيۡنَاكَعَنۡهُمۡتُرِيدُزِينَةَٱلۡحَيَوٰةِٱلدُّنۡيَاۖوَلَاتُطِعۡمَنۡأَغۡفَلۡنَاقَلۡبَهُۥعَنذِكۡرِنَاوَٱتَّبَعَهَوَىٰهُوَكَانَأَمۡرُهُۥفُرُطٗا٢٨
Saheeh International

And keep yourself patient [by being] with those who call upon their Lord in the morning and the evening, seeking His face [i.e., acceptance]. And let not your eyes pass beyond them, desiring adornments of the worldly life, and do not obey one whose heart We have made heedless of Our remembrance and who follows his desire and whose affair is ever [in] neglect.1

وَٱصْبِرْWaisbir
نَفْسَكَnafsaka
مَعَmaAAa
ٱلَّذِينَallatheena
يَدْعُونَyadAAoona
رَبَّهُمrabbahum
بِٱلْغَدَوٰةِbialghadati
وَٱلْعَشِىِّwaalAAashiyyi
يُرِيدُونَyureedoona
وَجْهَهُۥ ۖwajhahu
وَلَاwala
تَعْدُtaAAdu
عَيْنَاكَAAaynaka
عَنْهُمْAAanhum
تُرِيدُtureedu
زِينَةَzeenata
ٱلْحَيَوٰةِalhayati
ٱلدُّنْيَا ۖalddunya
وَلَاwala
تُطِعْtutiAA
مَنْman
أَغْفَلْنَاaghfalna
قَلْبَهُۥqalbahu
عَنAAan
ذِكْرِنَاthikrina
وَٱتَّبَعَwaittabaAAa
هَوَىٰهُhawahu
وَكَانَwakana
أَمْرُهُۥamruhu
فُرُطًۭاfurutan
فَخَرَجَعَلَىٰقَوۡمِهِۦمِنَٱلۡمِحۡرَابِفَأَوۡحَىٰٓإِلَيۡهِمۡأَنسَبِّحُواْبُكۡرَةٗوَعَشِيّٗا١١
Saheeh International

So he came out to his people from the prayer chamber and signaled to them to exalt [Allāh] in the morning and afternoon.

فَخَرَجَFakharaja
عَلَىٰAAala
قَوْمِهِۦqawmihi
مِنَmina
ٱلْمِحْرَابِalmihrabi
فَأَوْحَىٰٓfaawha
إِلَيْهِمْilayhim
أَنan
سَبِّحُوا۟sabbihoo
بُكْرَةًۭbukratan
وَعَشِيًّۭاwaAAashiyyan
لَّايَسۡمَعُونَفِيهَالَغۡوًاإِلَّاسَلَٰمٗاۖوَلَهُمۡرِزۡقُهُمۡفِيهَابُكۡرَةٗوَعَشِيّٗا٦٢
Saheeh International

They will not hear therein any ill speech - only [greetings of] peace - and they will have their provision therein, morning and afternoon.

لَّاLa
يَسْمَعُونَyasmaAAoona
فِيهَاfeeha
لَغْوًاlaghwan
إِلَّاilla
سَلَـٰمًۭا ۖsalaman
وَلَهُمْwalahum
رِزْقُهُمْrizquhum
فِيهَاfeeha
بُكْرَةًۭbukratan
وَعَشِيًّۭاwaAAashiyyan
قَالَمَوۡعِدُكُمۡيَوۡمُٱلزِّينَةِوَأَنيُحۡشَرَٱلنَّاسُضُحٗى٥٩
Saheeh International

[Moses] said, "Your appointment is on the day of the festival when the people assemble at mid-morning."1

قَالَQala
مَوْعِدُكُمْmawAAidukum
يَوْمُyawmu
ٱلزِّينَةِalzzeenati
وَأَنwaan
يُحْشَرَyuhshara
ٱلنَّاسُalnnasu
ضُحًۭىduhan
فِيبُيُوتٍأَذِنَٱللَّهُأَنتُرۡفَعَوَيُذۡكَرَفِيهَاٱسۡمُهُۥيُسَبِّحُلَهُۥفِيهَابِٱلۡغُدُوِّوَٱلۡأٓصَالِ٣٦
Saheeh International

[Such niches are] in houses [i.e., mosques] which Allāh has ordered to be raised and that His name be mentioned [i.e., praised] therein; exalting Him within them in the morning and the evenings1

فِىFee
بُيُوتٍbuyootin
أَذِنَathina
ٱللَّهُAllahu
أَنan
تُرْفَعَturfaAAa
وَيُذْكَرَwayuthkara
فِيهَاfeeha
ٱسْمُهُۥismuhu
يُسَبِّحُyusabbihu
لَهُۥlahu
فِيهَاfeeha
بِٱلْغُدُوِّbialghuduwwi
وَٱلْـَٔاصَالِwaalasali
وَقَالُوٓاْأَسَٰطِيرُٱلۡأَوَّلِينَٱكۡتَتَبَهَافَهِيَتُمۡلَىٰعَلَيۡهِبُكۡرَةٗوَأَصِيلٗا٥
Saheeh International

And they say, "Legends of the former peoples which he has written down, and they are dictated to him morning and afternoon."

وَقَالُوٓا۟Waqaloo
أَسَـٰطِيرُasateeru
ٱلْأَوَّلِينَalawwaleena
ٱكْتَتَبَهَاiktatabaha
فَهِىَfahiya
تُمْلَىٰtumla
عَلَيْهِAAalayhi
بُكْرَةًۭbukratan
وَأَصِيلًۭاwaaseelan
فَأَصۡبَحَفِيٱلۡمَدِينَةِخَآئِفٗايَتَرَقَّبُفَإِذَاٱلَّذِيٱسۡتَنصَرَهُۥبِٱلۡأَمۡسِيَسۡتَصۡرِخُهُۥۚقَالَلَهُۥمُوسَىٰٓإِنَّكَلَغَوِيّٞمُّبِينٞ١٨
Saheeh International

And he became inside the city fearful and anticipating [exposure], when suddenly the one who sought his help the previous day cried out to him [once again]. Moses said to him, "Indeed, you are an evident, [persistent] deviator."

فَأَصْبَحَFaasbaha
فِىfee
ٱلْمَدِينَةِalmadeenati
خَآئِفًۭاkhaifan
يَتَرَقَّبُyataraqqabu
فَإِذَاfaitha
ٱلَّذِىallathee
ٱسْتَنصَرَهُۥistansarahu
بِٱلْأَمْسِbialamsi
يَسْتَصْرِخُهُۥ ۚyastasrikhuhu
قَالَqala
لَهُۥlahu
مُوسَىٰٓmoosa
إِنَّكَinnaka
لَغَوِىٌّۭlaghawiyyun
مُّبِينٌۭmubeenun
فَكَذَّبُوهُفَأَخَذَتۡهُمُٱلرَّجۡفَةُفَأَصۡبَحُواْفِيدَارِهِمۡجَٰثِمِينَ٣٧
Saheeh International

But they denied him, so the earthquake seized them, and they became within their home [corpses] fallen prone.

فَكَذَّبُوهُFakaththaboohu
فَأَخَذَتْهُمُfaakhathathumu
ٱلرَّجْفَةُalrrajfatu
فَأَصْبَحُوا۟faasbahoo
فِىfee
دَارِهِمْdarihim
جَـٰثِمِينَjathimeena
فَسُبۡحَٰنَٱللَّهِحِينَتُمۡسُونَوَحِينَتُصۡبِحُونَ١٧
Saheeh International

So exalted is Allāh when you reach the evening and when you reach the morning.

فَسُبْحَـٰنَFasubhana
ٱللَّهِAllahi
حِينَheena
تُمْسُونَtumsoona
وَحِينَwaheena
تُصْبِحُونَtusbihoona
وَسَبِّحُوهُبُكۡرَةٗوَأَصِيلًا٤٢
Saheeh International

And exalt Him morning and afternoon.

وَسَبِّحُوهُWasabbihoohu
بُكْرَةًۭbukratan
وَأَصِيلًاwaaseelan
وَلِسُلَيۡمَٰنَٱلرِّيحَغُدُوُّهَاشَهۡرٞوَرَوَاحُهَاشَهۡرٞۖوَأَسَلۡنَالَهُۥعَيۡنَٱلۡقِطۡرِۖوَمِنَٱلۡجِنِّمَنيَعۡمَلُبَيۡنَيَدَيۡهِبِإِذۡنِرَبِّهِۦۖوَمَنيَزِغۡمِنۡهُمۡعَنۡأَمۡرِنَانُذِقۡهُمِنۡعَذَابِٱلسَّعِيرِ١٢
Saheeh International

And to Solomon [We subjected] the wind - its morning [journey was that of] a month - and its afternoon [journey was that of] a month, and We made flow for him a spring of [liquid] copper. And among the jinn were those who worked for him by the permission of his Lord. And whoever deviated among them from Our command - We will make him taste of the punishment of the Blaze.

وَلِسُلَيْمَـٰنَWalisulaymana
ٱلرِّيحَalrreeha
غُدُوُّهَاghuduwwuha
شَهْرٌۭshahrun
وَرَوَاحُهَاwarawahuha
شَهْرٌۭ ۖshahrun
وَأَسَلْنَاwaasalna
لَهُۥlahu
عَيْنَAAayna
ٱلْقِطْرِ ۖalqitri
وَمِنَwamina
ٱلْجِنِّaljinni
مَنman
يَعْمَلُyaAAmalu
بَيْنَbayna
يَدَيْهِyadayhi
بِإِذْنِbiithni
رَبِّهِۦ ۖrabbihi
وَمَنwaman
يَزِغْyazigh
مِنْهُمْminhum
عَنْAAan
أَمْرِنَاamrina
نُذِقْهُnuthiqhu
مِنْmin
عَذَابِAAathabi
ٱلسَّعِيرِalssaAAeeri
37:177
Open Ayah
فَإِذَانَزَلَبِسَاحَتِهِمۡفَسَآءَصَبَاحُٱلۡمُنذَرِينَ١٧٧
Saheeh International

But when it descends in their territory, then evil is the morning of those who were warned.

فَإِذَاFaitha
نَزَلَnazala
بِسَاحَتِهِمْbisahatihim
فَسَآءَfasaa
صَبَاحُsabahu
ٱلْمُنذَرِينَalmunthareena
إِنَّاسَخَّرۡنَاٱلۡجِبَالَمَعَهُۥيُسَبِّحۡنَبِٱلۡعَشِيِّوَٱلۡإِشۡرَاقِ١٨
Saheeh International

Indeed, We subjected the mountains [to praise] with him, exalting [Allāh] in the [late] afternoon and [after] sunrise.

إِنَّاInna
سَخَّرْنَاsakhkharna
ٱلْجِبَالَaljibala
مَعَهُۥmaAAahu
يُسَبِّحْنَyusabbihna
بِٱلْعَشِىِّbialAAashiyyi
وَٱلْإِشْرَاقِwaalishraqi
ٱلنَّارُيُعۡرَضُونَعَلَيۡهَاغُدُوّٗاوَعَشِيّٗاۚوَيَوۡمَتَقُومُٱلسَّاعَةُأَدۡخِلُوٓاْءَالَفِرۡعَوۡنَأَشَدَّٱلۡعَذَابِ٤٦
Saheeh International

The Fire; they are exposed to it morning and evening.1 And the Day the Hour appears [it will be said], "Make the people of Pharaoh enter the severest punishment."

ٱلنَّارُAlnnaru
يُعْرَضُونَyuAAradoona
عَلَيْهَاAAalayha
غُدُوًّۭاghuduwwan
وَعَشِيًّۭا ۖwaAAashiyyan
وَيَوْمَwayawma
تَقُومُtaqoomu
ٱلسَّاعَةُalssaAAatu
أَدْخِلُوٓا۟adkhiloo
ءَالَala
فِرْعَوْنَfirAAawna
أَشَدَّashadda
ٱلْعَذَابِalAAathabi
فَٱصۡبِرۡإِنَّوَعۡدَٱللَّهِحَقّٞوَٱسۡتَغۡفِرۡلِذَنۢبِكَوَسَبِّحۡبِحَمۡدِرَبِّكَبِٱلۡعَشِيِّوَٱلۡإِبۡكَٰرِ٥٥
Saheeh International

So be patient, [O Muḥammad]. Indeed, the promise of Allāh is truth. And ask forgiveness for your sin1 and exalt [Allāh] with praise of your Lord in the evening and the morning.

فَٱصْبِرْFaisbir
إِنَّinna
وَعْدَwaAAda
ٱللَّهِAllahi
حَقٌّۭhaqqun
وَٱسْتَغْفِرْwaistaghfir
لِذَنۢبِكَlithanbika
وَسَبِّحْwasabbih
بِحَمْدِbihamdi
رَبِّكَrabbika
بِٱلْعَشِىِّbialAAashiyyi
وَٱلْإِبْكَـٰرِwaalibkari
لِّتُؤۡمِنُواْبِٱللَّهِوَرَسُولِهِۦوَتُعَزِّرُوهُوَتُوَقِّرُوهُۚوَتُسَبِّحُوهُبُكۡرَةٗوَأَصِيلًا٩
Saheeh International

That you [people] may believe in Allāh and His Messenger and honor him and respect him [i.e., the Prophet (ﷺ)] and exalt Him [i.e., Allāh] morning and afternoon.

لِّتُؤْمِنُوا۟Lituminoo
بِٱللَّهِbiAllahi
وَرَسُولِهِۦwarasoolihi
وَتُعَزِّرُوهُwatuAAazziroohu
وَتُوَقِّرُوهُwatuwaqqiroohu
وَتُسَبِّحُوهُwatusabbihoohu
بُكْرَةًۭbukratan
وَأَصِيلًاwaaseelan
وَلَقَدۡصَبَّحَهُمبُكۡرَةًعَذَابٞمُّسۡتَقِرّٞ٣٨
Saheeh International

And there came upon them by morning an abiding punishment.

وَلَقَدْWalaqad
صَبَّحَهُمsabbahahum
بُكْرَةًbukratan
عَذَابٌۭAAathabun
مُّسْتَقِرٌّۭmustaqirrun
إِنَّابَلَوۡنَٰهُمۡكَمَابَلَوۡنَآأَصۡحَٰبَٱلۡجَنَّةِإِذۡأَقۡسَمُواْلَيَصۡرِمُنَّهَامُصۡبِحِينَ١٧
Saheeh International

Indeed, We have tried them as We tried the companions of the garden, when they swore to cut its fruit in the [early] morning

إِنَّاInna
بَلَوْنَـٰهُمْbalawnahum
كَمَاkama
بَلَوْنَآbalawna
أَصْحَـٰبَashaba
ٱلْجَنَّةِaljannati
إِذْith
أَقْسَمُوا۟aqsamoo
لَيَصْرِمُنَّهَاlayasrimunnaha
مُصْبِحِينَmusbiheena
فَتَنَادَوۡاْمُصۡبِحِينَ٢١
Saheeh International

And they called one another at morning,

فَتَنَادَوْا۟Fatanadaw
مُصْبِحِينَmusbiheena
أَنِٱغۡدُواْعَلَىٰحَرۡثِكُمۡإِنكُنتُمۡصَٰرِمِينَ٢٢
Saheeh International

[Saying], "Go early to your crop if you would cut the fruit."

أَنِAni
ٱغْدُوا۟ighdoo
عَلَىٰAAala
حَرْثِكُمْharthikum
إِنin
كُنتُمْkuntum
صَـٰرِمِينَsarimeena
وَٱذۡكُرِٱسۡمَرَبِّكَبُكۡرَةٗوَأَصِيلٗا٢٥
Saheeh International

And mention the name of your Lord [in prayer] morning and evening

وَٱذْكُرِWaothkuri
ٱسْمَisma
رَبِّكَrabbika
بُكْرَةًۭbukratan
وَأَصِيلًۭاwaaseelan
كَأَنَّهُمۡيَوۡمَيَرَوۡنَهَالَمۡيَلۡبَثُوٓاْإِلَّاعَشِيَّةًأَوۡضُحَىٰهَا٤٦
Saheeh International

It will be, on the Day they see it,1 as though they had not remained [in the world] except for an afternoon or a morning thereof.

كَأَنَّهُمْKaannahum
يَوْمَyawma
يَرَوْنَهَاyarawnaha
لَمْlam
يَلْبَثُوٓا۟yalbathoo
إِلَّاilla
عَشِيَّةًAAashiyyatan
أَوْaw
ضُحَىٰهَاduhaha
وَٱلضُّحَىٰ١
Saheeh International

By the morning brightness

وَٱلضُّحَىٰWaaldduha
قُلۡأَعُوذُبِرَبِّٱلۡفَلَقِ١
Saheeh International

Say, "I seek refuge in the Lord of daybreak

قُلْQul
أَعُوذُaAAoothu
بِرَبِّbirabbi
ٱلْفَلَقِalfalaqi
مِنشَرِّمَاخَلَقَ٢
Saheeh International

From the evil of that which He created

مِنMin
شَرِّsharri
مَاma
خَلَقَkhalaqa
وَمِنشَرِّغَاسِقٍإِذَاوَقَبَ٣
Saheeh International

And from the evil of darkness when it settles

وَمِنWamin
شَرِّsharri
غَاسِقٍghasiqin
إِذَاitha
وَقَبَwaqaba
وَمِنشَرِّٱلنَّفَّٰثَٰتِفِيٱلۡعُقَدِ٤
Saheeh International

And from the evil of the blowers in knots1

وَمِنWamin
شَرِّsharri
ٱلنَّفَّـٰثَـٰتِalnnaffathati
فِىfee
ٱلْعُقَدِalAAuqadi
وَمِنشَرِّحَاسِدٍإِذَاحَسَدَ٥
Saheeh International

And from the evil of an envier when he envies."

وَمِنWamin
شَرِّsharri
حَاسِدٍhasidin
إِذَاitha
حَسَدَhasada
