Open Ayah
يَٰٓأَهۡلَٱلۡكِتَٰبِقَدۡجَآءَكُمۡرَسُولُنَايُبَيِّنُلَكُمۡعَلَىٰفَتۡرَةٖمِّنَٱلرُّسُلِأَنتَقُولُواْمَاجَآءَنَامِنۢبَشِيرٖوَلَانَذِيرٖۖفَقَدۡجَآءَكُمبَشِيرٞوَنَذِيرٞۗوَٱللَّهُعَلَىٰكُلِّشَيۡءٖقَدِيرٞ١٩
Saheeh International

O People of the Scripture, there has come to you Our Messenger to make clear to you [the religion] after a period [of suspension] of messengers, lest you say, "There came not to us any bringer of good tidings or a warner." But there has come to you a bringer of good tidings and a warner. And Allāh is over all things competent.

يَـٰٓأَهْلَYaahla
ٱلْكِتَـٰبِalkitabi
قَدْqad
جَآءَكُمْjaakum
رَسُولُنَاrasooluna
يُبَيِّنُyubayyinu
لَكُمْlakum
عَلَىٰAAala
فَتْرَةٍۢfatratin
مِّنَmina
ٱلرُّسُلِalrrusuli
أَنan
تَقُولُوا۟taqooloo
مَاma
جَآءَنَاjaana
مِنۢmin
بَشِيرٍۢbasheerin
وَلَاwala
نَذِيرٍۢ ۖnatheerin
فَقَدْfaqad
جَآءَكُمjaakum
بَشِيرٌۭbasheerun
وَنَذِيرٌۭ ۗwanatheerun
وَٱللَّهُwaAllahu
عَلَىٰAAala
كُلِّkulli
شَىْءٍۢshayin
قَدِيرٌۭqadeerun
23:44
Open Ayah
ثُمَّأَرۡسَلۡنَارُسُلَنَاتَتۡرَاۖكُلَّمَاجَآءَأُمَّةٗرَّسُولُهَاكَذَّبُوهُۖفَأَتۡبَعۡنَابَعۡضَهُمبَعۡضٗاوَجَعَلۡنَٰهُمۡأَحَادِيثَۚفَبُعۡدٗالِّقَوۡمٖلَّايُؤۡمِنُونَ٤٤
Saheeh International

Then We sent Our messengers in succession. Every time there came to a nation its messenger, they denied him, so We made them follow one another [to destruction], and We made them narrations.1 So away with a people who do not believe.

ثُمَّThumma
أَرْسَلْنَاarsalna
رُسُلَنَاrusulana
تَتْرَا ۖtatra
كُلَّkulla
مَاma
جَآءَjaa
أُمَّةًۭommatan
رَّسُولُهَاrasooluha
كَذَّبُوهُ ۚkaththaboohu
فَأَتْبَعْنَاfaatbaAAna
بَعْضَهُمbaAAdahum
بَعْضًۭاbaAAdan
وَجَعَلْنَـٰهُمْwajaAAalnahum
أَحَادِيثَ ۚahadeetha
فَبُعْدًۭاfabuAAdan
لِّقَوْمٍۢliqawmin
لَّاla
يُؤْمِنُونَyuminoona
