لَايَرۡقُبُونَفِيمُؤۡمِنٍإِلّٗاوَلَاذِمَّةٗۚوَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَهُمُٱلۡمُعۡتَدُونَ١٠
Saheeh International

They do not observe toward a believer any pact of kinship or covenant of protection. And it is they who are the transgressors.

لَاLa
يَرْقُبُونَyarquboona
فِىfee
مُؤْمِنٍmuminin
إِلًّۭاillan
وَلَاwala
ذِمَّةًۭ ۚthimmatan
وَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَwaolaika
هُمُhumu
ٱلْمُعْتَدُونَalmuAAtadoona
كَيۡفَوَإِنيَظۡهَرُواْعَلَيۡكُمۡلَايَرۡقُبُواْفِيكُمۡإِلّٗاوَلَاذِمَّةٗۚيُرۡضُونَكُمبِأَفۡوَٰهِهِمۡوَتَأۡبَىٰقُلُوبُهُمۡوَأَكۡثَرُهُمۡفَٰسِقُونَ٨
Saheeh International

How [can there be a treaty] while, if they gain dominance over you, they do not observe concerning you any pact of kinship or covenant of protection? They satisfy you with their mouths, but their hearts refuse [compliance], and most of them are defiantly disobedient.

كَيْفَKayfa
وَإِنwain
يَظْهَرُوا۟yathharoo
عَلَيْكُمْAAalaykum
لَاla
يَرْقُبُوا۟yarquboo
فِيكُمْfeekum
إِلًّۭاillan
وَلَاwala
ذِمَّةًۭ ۚthimmatan
يُرْضُونَكُمyurdoonakum
بِأَفْوَٰهِهِمْbiafwahihim
وَتَأْبَىٰwataba
قُلُوبُهُمْquloobuhum
وَأَكْثَرُهُمْwaaktharuhum
فَـٰسِقُونَfasiqoona
وَلَاتَزِرُوَازِرَةٞوِزۡرَأُخۡرَىٰۚوَإِنتَدۡعُمُثۡقَلَةٌإِلَىٰحِمۡلِهَالَايُحۡمَلۡمِنۡهُشَيۡءٞوَلَوۡكَانَذَاقُرۡبَىٰٓۗإِنَّمَاتُنذِرُٱلَّذِينَيَخۡشَوۡنَرَبَّهُمبِٱلۡغَيۡبِوَأَقَامُواْٱلصَّلَوٰةَۚوَمَنتَزَكَّىٰفَإِنَّمَايَتَزَكَّىٰلِنَفۡسِهِۦۚوَإِلَىٱللَّهِٱلۡمَصِيرُ١٨
Saheeh International

And no bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another. And if a heavily laden soul calls [another] to [carry some of] its load, nothing of it will be carried, even if he should be a close relative. You can only warn those who fear their Lord unseen and have established prayer. And whoever purifies himself only purifies himself for [the benefit of] his soul. And to Allāh is the [final] destination.

وَلَاWala
تَزِرُtaziru
وَازِرَةٌۭwaziratun
وِزْرَwizra
أُخْرَىٰ ۚokhra
وَإِنwain
تَدْعُtadAAu
مُثْقَلَةٌmuthqalatun
إِلَىٰila
حِمْلِهَاhimliha
لَاla
يُحْمَلْyuhmal
مِنْهُminhu
شَىْءٌۭshayon
وَلَوْwalaw
كَانَkana
ذَاtha
قُرْبَىٰٓ ۗqurba
إِنَّمَاinnama
تُنذِرُtunthiru
ٱلَّذِينَallatheena
يَخْشَوْنَyakhshawna
رَبَّهُمrabbahum
بِٱلْغَيْبِbialghaybi
وَأَقَامُوا۟waaqamoo
ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ ۚalssalata
وَمَنwaman
تَزَكَّىٰtazakka
فَإِنَّمَاfainnama
يَتَزَكَّىٰyatazakka
لِنَفْسِهِۦ ۚlinafsihi
وَإِلَىwaila
ٱللَّهِAllahi
ٱلْمَصِيرُalmaseeru
فَهَلۡعَسَيۡتُمۡإِنتَوَلَّيۡتُمۡأَنتُفۡسِدُواْفِيٱلۡأَرۡضِوَتُقَطِّعُوٓاْأَرۡحَامَكُمۡ٢٢
Saheeh International

So would you perhaps, if you turned away,1 cause corruption on earth and sever your [ties of] relationship?

فَهَلْFahal
عَسَيْتُمْAAasaytum
إِنin
تَوَلَّيْتُمْtawallaytum
أَنan
تُفْسِدُوا۟tufsidoo
فِىfee
ٱلْأَرْضِalardi
وَتُقَطِّعُوٓا۟watuqattiAAoo
أَرْحَامَكُمْarhamakum
