17:33

وَلَاتَقۡتُلُواْٱلنَّفۡسَٱلَّتِيحَرَّمَٱللَّهُإِلَّابِٱلۡحَقِّۗوَمَنقُتِلَمَظۡلُومٗافَقَدۡجَعَلۡنَالِوَلِيِّهِۦسُلۡطَٰنٗافَلَايُسۡرِففِّيٱلۡقَتۡلِۖإِنَّهُۥكَانَمَنصُورٗا٣٣

Saheeh International

And do not kill the soul [i.e., person] which Allāh has forbidden, except by right.¹ And whoever is killed unjustly - We have given his heir authority,² but let him not exceed limits in [the matter of] taking life. Indeed, he has been supported [by the law].

وَلَاWala

تَقْتُلُوا۟taqtuloo

ٱلنَّفْسَalnnafsa

ٱلَّتِىallatee

حَرَّمَharrama

ٱللَّهُAllahu

إِلَّاilla

بِٱلْحَقِّ ۗbialhaqqi

وَمَنwaman

قُتِلَqutila

مَظْلُومًۭاmathlooman

فَقَدْfaqad

جَعَلْنَاjaAAalna

لِوَلِيِّهِۦliwaliyyihi

سُلْطَـٰنًۭاsultanan

فَلَاfala

يُسْرِفyusrif

فِّىfee

ٱلْقَتْلِ ۖalqatli

إِنَّهُۥinnahu

كَانَkana

مَنصُورًۭاmansooran
