4:89
Open Ayah
وَدُّواْلَوۡتَكۡفُرُونَكَمَاكَفَرُواْفَتَكُونُونَسَوَآءٗۖفَلَاتَتَّخِذُواْمِنۡهُمۡأَوۡلِيَآءَحَتَّىٰيُهَاجِرُواْفِيسَبِيلِٱللَّهِۚفَإِنتَوَلَّوۡاْفَخُذُوهُمۡوَٱقۡتُلُوهُمۡحَيۡثُوَجَدتُّمُوهُمۡۖوَلَاتَتَّخِذُواْمِنۡهُمۡوَلِيّٗاوَلَانَصِيرًا٨٩
Saheeh International

They wish you would disbelieve as they disbelieved so you would be alike. So do not take from among them allies until they emigrate for the cause of Allāh. But if they turn away [i.e., refuse], then seize them and kill them [for their betrayal] wherever you find them and take not from among them any ally or helper,

وَدُّوا۟Waddoo
لَوْlaw
تَكْفُرُونَtakfuroona
كَمَاkama
كَفَرُوا۟kafaroo
فَتَكُونُونَfatakoonoona
سَوَآءًۭ ۖsawaan
فَلَاfala
تَتَّخِذُوا۟tattakhithoo
مِنْهُمْminhum
أَوْلِيَآءَawliyaa
حَتَّىٰhatta
يُهَاجِرُوا۟yuhajiroo
فِىfee
سَبِيلِsabeeli
ٱللَّهِ ۚAllahi
فَإِنfain
تَوَلَّوْا۟tawallaw
فَخُذُوهُمْfakhuthoohum
وَٱقْتُلُوهُمْwaoqtuloohum
حَيْثُhaythu
وَجَدتُّمُوهُمْ ۖwajadtumoohum
وَلَاwala
تَتَّخِذُوا۟tattakhithoo
مِنْهُمْminhum
وَلِيًّۭاwaliyyan
وَلَاwala
نَصِيرًاnaseeran
58:14
Open Ayah
۞ أَلَمۡتَرَإِلَىٱلَّذِينَتَوَلَّوۡاْقَوۡمًاغَضِبَٱللَّهُعَلَيۡهِممَّاهُممِّنكُمۡوَلَامِنۡهُمۡوَيَحۡلِفُونَعَلَىٱلۡكَذِبِوَهُمۡيَعۡلَمُونَ١٤
Saheeh International

Have you not considered those who make allies of a people with whom Allāh has become angry? They are neither of you nor of them, and they swear to untruth while they know [they are lying].

۞ أَلَمْAlam
تَرَtara
إِلَىila
ٱلَّذِينَallatheena
تَوَلَّوْا۟tawallaw
قَوْمًاqawman
غَضِبَghadiba
ٱللَّهُAllahu
عَلَيْهِمAAalayhim
مَّاma
هُمhum
مِّنكُمْminkum
وَلَاwala
مِنْهُمْminhum
وَيَحْلِفُونَwayahlifoona
عَلَىAAala
ٱلْكَذِبِalkathibi
وَهُمْwahum
يَعْلَمُونَyaAAlamoona
58:15
Open Ayah
أَعَدَّٱللَّهُلَهُمۡعَذَابٗاشَدِيدًاۖإِنَّهُمۡسَآءَمَاكَانُواْيَعۡمَلُونَ١٥
Saheeh International

Allāh has prepared for them a severe punishment. Indeed, it was evil that they were doing.

أَعَدَّaAAadda
ٱللَّهُAllahu
لَهُمْlahum
عَذَابًۭاAAathaban
شَدِيدًا ۖshadeedan
إِنَّهُمْinnahum
سَآءَsaa
مَاma
كَانُوا۟kanoo
يَعْمَلُونَyaAAmaloona
58:16
Open Ayah
ٱتَّخَذُوٓاْأَيۡمَٰنَهُمۡجُنَّةٗفَصَدُّواْعَنسَبِيلِٱللَّهِفَلَهُمۡعَذَابٞمُّهِينٞ١٦
Saheeh International

They took their [false] oaths as a cover, so they averted [people] from the way of Allāh, and for them is a humiliating punishment.

ٱتَّخَذُوٓا۟Ittakhathoo
أَيْمَـٰنَهُمْaymanahum
جُنَّةًۭjunnatan
فَصَدُّوا۟fasaddoo
عَنAAan
سَبِيلِsabeeli
ٱللَّهِAllahi
فَلَهُمْfalahum
عَذَابٌۭAAathabun
مُّهِينٌۭmuheenun
58:17
Open Ayah
لَّنتُغۡنِيَعَنۡهُمۡأَمۡوَٰلُهُمۡوَلَآأَوۡلَٰدُهُممِّنَٱللَّهِشَيۡـًٔاۚأُوْلَٰٓئِكَأَصۡحَٰبُٱلنَّارِۖهُمۡفِيهَاخَٰلِدُونَ١٧
Saheeh International

Never will their wealth or their children avail them against Allāh at all. Those are the companions of the Fire; they will abide therein eternally

لَّنLan
تُغْنِىَtughniya
عَنْهُمْAAanhum
أَمْوَٰلُهُمْamwaluhum
وَلَآwala
أَوْلَـٰدُهُمawladuhum
مِّنَmina
ٱللَّهِAllahi
شَيْـًٔا ۚshayan
أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَolaika
أَصْحَـٰبُashabu
ٱلنَّارِ ۖalnnari
هُمْhum
فِيهَاfeeha
خَـٰلِدُونَkhalidoona
58:18
Open Ayah
يَوۡمَيَبۡعَثُهُمُٱللَّهُجَمِيعٗافَيَحۡلِفُونَلَهُۥكَمَايَحۡلِفُونَلَكُمۡوَيَحۡسَبُونَأَنَّهُمۡعَلَىٰشَيۡءٍۚأَلَآإِنَّهُمۡهُمُٱلۡكَٰذِبُونَ١٨
Saheeh International

On the Day Allāh will resurrect them all, and they will swear to Him as they swear to you and think that they are [standing] on something.1 Unquestionably, it is they who are the liars.

يَوْمَYawma
يَبْعَثُهُمُyabAAathuhumu
ٱللَّهُAllahu
جَمِيعًۭاjameeAAan
فَيَحْلِفُونَfayahlifoona
لَهُۥlahu
كَمَاkama
يَحْلِفُونَyahlifoona
لَكُمْ ۖlakum
وَيَحْسَبُونَwayahsaboona
أَنَّهُمْannahum
عَلَىٰAAala
شَىْءٍ ۚshayin
أَلَآala
إِنَّهُمْinnahum
هُمُhumu
ٱلْكَـٰذِبُونَalkathiboona
58:19
Open Ayah
ٱسۡتَحۡوَذَعَلَيۡهِمُٱلشَّيۡطَٰنُفَأَنسَىٰهُمۡذِكۡرَٱللَّهِۚأُوْلَٰٓئِكَحِزۡبُٱلشَّيۡطَٰنِۚأَلَآإِنَّحِزۡبَٱلشَّيۡطَٰنِهُمُٱلۡخَٰسِرُونَ١٩
Saheeh International

Satan has overcome them and made them forget the remembrance of Allāh. Those are the party of Satan. Unquestionably, the party of Satan - they will be the losers.

ٱسْتَحْوَذَIstahwatha
عَلَيْهِمُAAalayhimu
ٱلشَّيْطَـٰنُalshshaytanu
فَأَنسَىٰهُمْfaansahum
ذِكْرَthikra
ٱللَّهِ ۚAllahi
أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَolaika
حِزْبُhizbu
ٱلشَّيْطَـٰنِ ۚalshshaytani
أَلَآala
إِنَّinna
حِزْبَhizba
ٱلشَّيْطَـٰنِalshshaytani
هُمُhumu
ٱلْخَـٰسِرُونَalkhasiroona
