4:10
Open Ayah
إِنَّٱلَّذِينَيَأۡكُلُونَأَمۡوَٰلَٱلۡيَتَٰمَىٰظُلۡمًاإِنَّمَايَأۡكُلُونَفِيبُطُونِهِمۡنَارٗاۖوَسَيَصۡلَوۡنَسَعِيرٗا١٠
Saheeh International

Indeed, those who devour the property of orphans unjustly are only consuming into their bellies fire. And they will be burned in a Blaze [i.e., Hellfire].

إِنَّInna
ٱلَّذِينَallatheena
يَأْكُلُونَyakuloona
أَمْوَٰلَamwala
ٱلْيَتَـٰمَىٰalyatama
ظُلْمًاthulman
إِنَّمَاinnama
يَأْكُلُونَyakuloona
فِىfee
بُطُونِهِمْbutoonihim
نَارًۭا ۖnaran
وَسَيَصْلَوْنَwasayaslawna
سَعِيرًۭاsaAAeeran
4:5
Open Ayah
وَلَاتُؤۡتُواْٱلسُّفَهَآءَأَمۡوَٰلَكُمُٱلَّتِيجَعَلَٱللَّهُلَكُمۡقِيَٰمٗاوَٱرۡزُقُوهُمۡفِيهَاوَٱكۡسُوهُمۡوَقُولُواْلَهُمۡقَوۡلٗامَّعۡرُوفٗا٥
Saheeh International

And do not give the weak-minded your property,1 which Allāh has made a means of sustenance for you, but provide for them with it and clothe them and speak to them words of appropriate kindness.

وَلَاWala
تُؤْتُوا۟tutoo
ٱلسُّفَهَآءَalssufahaa
أَمْوَٰلَكُمُamwalakumu
ٱلَّتِىallatee
جَعَلَjaAAala
ٱللَّهُAllahu
لَكُمْlakum
قِيَـٰمًۭاqiyaman
وَٱرْزُقُوهُمْwaorzuqoohum
فِيهَاfeeha
وَٱكْسُوهُمْwaoksoohum
وَقُولُوا۟waqooloo
لَهُمْlahum
قَوْلًۭاqawlan
مَّعْرُوفًۭاmaAAroofan
4:6
Open Ayah
وَٱبۡتَلُواْٱلۡيَتَٰمَىٰحَتَّىٰٓإِذَابَلَغُواْٱلنِّكَاحَفَإِنۡءَانَسۡتُممِّنۡهُمۡرُشۡدٗافَٱدۡفَعُوٓاْإِلَيۡهِمۡأَمۡوَٰلَهُمۡۖوَلَاتَأۡكُلُوهَآإِسۡرَافٗاوَبِدَارًاأَنيَكۡبَرُواْۚوَمَنكَانَغَنِيّٗافَلۡيَسۡتَعۡفِفۡۖوَمَنكَانَفَقِيرٗافَلۡيَأۡكُلۡبِٱلۡمَعۡرُوفِۚفَإِذَادَفَعۡتُمۡإِلَيۡهِمۡأَمۡوَٰلَهُمۡفَأَشۡهِدُواْعَلَيۡهِمۡۚوَكَفَىٰبِٱللَّهِحَسِيبٗا٦
Saheeh International

And test the orphans [in their abilities] until they reach marriageable age. Then if you perceive in them sound judgement, release their property to them. And do not consume it excessively and quickly, [anticipating] that they will grow up. And whoever, [when acting as guardian], is self-sufficient should refrain [from taking a fee]; and whoever is poor - let him take according to what is acceptable. Then when you release their property to them, bring witnesses upon them. And sufficient is Allāh as Accountant.

وَٱبْتَلُوا۟Waibtaloo
ٱلْيَتَـٰمَىٰalyatama
حَتَّىٰٓhatta
إِذَاitha
بَلَغُوا۟balaghoo
ٱلنِّكَاحَalnnikaha
فَإِنْfain
ءَانَسْتُمanastum
مِّنْهُمْminhum
رُشْدًۭاrushdan
فَٱدْفَعُوٓا۟faidfaAAoo
إِلَيْهِمْilayhim
أَمْوَٰلَهُمْ ۖamwalahum
وَلَاwala
تَأْكُلُوهَآtakulooha
إِسْرَافًۭاisrafan
وَبِدَارًاwabidaran
أَنan
يَكْبَرُوا۟ ۚyakbaroo
وَمَنwaman
كَانَkana
غَنِيًّۭاghaniyyan
فَلْيَسْتَعْفِفْ ۖfalyastaAAfif
وَمَنwaman
كَانَkana
فَقِيرًۭاfaqeeran
فَلْيَأْكُلْfalyakul
بِٱلْمَعْرُوفِ ۚbialmaAAroofi
فَإِذَاfaitha
دَفَعْتُمْdafaAAtum
إِلَيْهِمْilayhim
أَمْوَٰلَهُمْamwalahum
فَأَشْهِدُوا۟faashhidoo
عَلَيْهِمْ ۚAAalayhim
وَكَفَىٰwakafa
بِٱللَّهِbiAllahi
حَسِيبًۭاhaseeban
6:151
Open Ayah
۞ قُلۡتَعَالَوۡاْأَتۡلُمَاحَرَّمَرَبُّكُمۡعَلَيۡكُمۡۖأَلَّاتُشۡرِكُواْبِهِۦشَيۡـٔٗاۖوَبِٱلۡوَٰلِدَيۡنِإِحۡسَٰنٗاۖوَلَاتَقۡتُلُوٓاْأَوۡلَٰدَكُممِّنۡإِمۡلَٰقٖنَّحۡنُنَرۡزُقُكُمۡوَإِيَّاهُمۡۖوَلَاتَقۡرَبُواْٱلۡفَوَٰحِشَمَاظَهَرَمِنۡهَاوَمَابَطَنَۖوَلَاتَقۡتُلُواْٱلنَّفۡسَٱلَّتِيحَرَّمَٱللَّهُإِلَّابِٱلۡحَقِّۚذَٰلِكُمۡوَصَّىٰكُمبِهِۦلَعَلَّكُمۡتَعۡقِلُونَ١٥١
Saheeh International

Say, "Come, I will recite what your Lord has prohibited to you. [He commands] that you not associate anything with Him, and to parents, good treatment, and do not kill your children out of poverty; We will provide for you and them. And do not approach immoralities - what is apparent of them and what is concealed. And do not kill the soul which Allāh has forbidden [to be killed] except by [legal] right. This has He instructed you that you may use reason."

۞ قُلْQul
تَعَالَوْا۟taAAalaw
أَتْلُatlu
مَاma
حَرَّمَharrama
رَبُّكُمْrabbukum
عَلَيْكُمْ ۖAAalaykum
أَلَّاalla
تُشْرِكُوا۟tushrikoo
بِهِۦbihi
شَيْـًۭٔا ۖshayan
وَبِٱلْوَٰلِدَيْنِwabialwalidayni
إِحْسَـٰنًۭا ۖihsanan
وَلَاwala
تَقْتُلُوٓا۟taqtuloo
أَوْلَـٰدَكُمawladakum
مِّنْmin
إِمْلَـٰقٍۢ ۖimlaqin
نَّحْنُnahnu
نَرْزُقُكُمْnarzuqukum
وَإِيَّاهُمْ ۖwaiyyahum
وَلَاwala
تَقْرَبُوا۟taqraboo
ٱلْفَوَٰحِشَalfawahisha
مَاma
ظَهَرَthahara
مِنْهَاminha
وَمَاwama
بَطَنَ ۖbatana
وَلَاwala
تَقْتُلُوا۟taqtuloo
ٱلنَّفْسَalnnafsa
ٱلَّتِىallatee
حَرَّمَharrama
ٱللَّهُAllahu
إِلَّاilla
بِٱلْحَقِّ ۚbialhaqqi
ذَٰلِكُمْthalikum
وَصَّىٰكُمwassakum
بِهِۦbihi
لَعَلَّكُمْlaAAallakum
تَعْقِلُونَtaAAqiloona
