83:1
Open Ayah
وَيۡلٞلِّلۡمُطَفِّفِينَ١
Saheeh International

Woe to those who give less [than due],1

وَيْلٌۭWaylun
لِّلْمُطَفِّفِينَlilmutaffifeena
83:2
Open Ayah
ٱلَّذِينَإِذَاٱكۡتَالُواْعَلَىٱلنَّاسِيَسۡتَوۡفُونَ٢
Saheeh International

Who, when they take a measure from people, take in full.

ٱلَّذِينَAllatheena
إِذَاitha
ٱكْتَالُوا۟iktaloo
عَلَىAAala
ٱلنَّاسِalnnasi
يَسْتَوْفُونَyastawfoona
83:3
Open Ayah
وَإِذَاكَالُوهُمۡأَووَّزَنُوهُمۡيُخۡسِرُونَ٣
Saheeh International

But if they give by measure or by weight to them, they cause loss.

وَإِذَاWaitha
كَالُوهُمْkaloohum
أَوaw
وَّزَنُوهُمْwazanoohum
يُخْسِرُونَyukhsiroona
83:4
Open Ayah
أَلَايَظُنُّأُوْلَٰٓئِكَأَنَّهُممَّبۡعُوثُونَ٤
Saheeh International

Do they not think that they will be resurrected

أَلَاAla
يَظُنُّyathunnu
أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَolaika
أَنَّهُمannahum
مَّبْعُوثُونَmabAAoothoona
83:5
Open Ayah
لِيَوۡمٍعَظِيمٖ٥
Saheeh International

For a tremendous Day -

لِيَوْمٍLiyawmin
عَظِيمٍۢAAatheemin
83:6
Open Ayah
يَوۡمَيَقُومُٱلنَّاسُلِرَبِّٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ٦
Saheeh International

The Day when mankind will stand before the Lord of the worlds?

يَوْمَYawma
يَقُومُyaqoomu
ٱلنَّاسُalnnasu
لِرَبِّlirabbi
ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَalAAalameena
