21:16
Open Ayah
وَمَاخَلَقۡنَاٱلسَّمَآءَوَٱلۡأَرۡضَوَمَابَيۡنَهُمَالَٰعِبِينَ١٦
Saheeh International

And We did not create the heaven and earth and that between them in play.

وَمَاWama
خَلَقْنَاkhalaqna
ٱلسَّمَآءَalssamaa
وَٱلْأَرْضَwaalarda
وَمَاwama
بَيْنَهُمَاbaynahuma
لَـٰعِبِينَlaAAibeena
21:17
Open Ayah
لَوۡأَرَدۡنَآأَننَّتَّخِذَلَهۡوٗالَّٱتَّخَذۡنَٰهُمِنلَّدُنَّآإِنكُنَّافَٰعِلِينَ١٧
Saheeh International

Had We intended to take a diversion,1 We could have taken it from [what is] with Us - if [indeed] We were to do so.

نَّتَّخِذَnattakhitha
لَهْوًۭاlahwan
لَّٱتَّخَذْنَـٰهُlaittakhathnahu
مِنmin
لَّدُنَّآladunna
إِنin
كُنَّاkunna
فَـٰعِلِينَfaAAileena
