6:90
Open Ayah
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَٱلَّذِينَهَدَىٱللَّهُۖفَبِهُدَىٰهُمُٱقۡتَدِهۡۗقُللَّآأَسۡـَٔلُكُمۡعَلَيۡهِأَجۡرًاۖإِنۡهُوَإِلَّاذِكۡرَىٰلِلۡعَٰلَمِينَ٩٠
Saheeh International

Those are the ones whom Allāh has guided, so from their guidance take an example. Say, "I ask of you for it [i.e., this message] no payment. It is not but a reminder for the worlds."

أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَOlaika
ٱلَّذِينَallatheena
هَدَىhada
ٱللَّهُ ۖAllahu
فَبِهُدَىٰهُمُfabihudahumu
ٱقْتَدِهْ ۗiqtadih
قُلqul
لَّآla
أَسْـَٔلُكُمْasalukum
عَلَيْهِAAalayhi
أَجْرًا ۖajran
إِنْin
هُوَhuwa
إِلَّاilla
ذِكْرَىٰthikra
لِلْعَـٰلَمِينَlilAAalameena
11:51
Open Ayah
يَٰقَوۡمِلَآأَسۡـَٔلُكُمۡعَلَيۡهِأَجۡرًاۖإِنۡأَجۡرِيَإِلَّاعَلَىٱلَّذِيفَطَرَنِيٓۚأَفَلَاتَعۡقِلُونَ٥١
Saheeh International

O my people, I do not ask you for it [i.e., my advice] any reward. My reward is only from the one who created me. Then will you not reason?

يَـٰقَوْمِyaqawmi
لَآla
أَسْـَٔلُكُمْasalukum
عَلَيْهِAAalayhi
أَجْرًا ۖajran
إِنْin
أَجْرِىَajriya
إِلَّاilla
عَلَىAAala
ٱلَّذِىallathee
فَطَرَنِىٓ ۚfataranee
أَفَلَاafala
تَعْقِلُونَtaAAqiloona
12:104
Open Ayah
وَمَاتَسۡـَٔلُهُمۡعَلَيۡهِمِنۡأَجۡرٍۚإِنۡهُوَإِلَّاذِكۡرٞلِّلۡعَٰلَمِينَ١٠٤
Saheeh International

And you do not ask of them for it any payment. It is not except a reminder to the worlds.

وَمَاWama
تَسْـَٔلُهُمْtasaluhum
عَلَيْهِAAalayhi
مِنْmin
أَجْرٍ ۚajrin
إِنْin
هُوَhuwa
إِلَّاilla
ذِكْرٌۭthikrun
لِّلْعَـٰلَمِينَlilAAalameena
18:77
Open Ayah
فَٱنطَلَقَاحَتَّىٰٓإِذَآأَتَيَآأَهۡلَقَرۡيَةٍٱسۡتَطۡعَمَآأَهۡلَهَافَأَبَوۡاْأَنيُضَيِّفُوهُمَافَوَجَدَافِيهَاجِدَارٗايُرِيدُأَنيَنقَضَّفَأَقَامَهُۥۖقَالَلَوۡشِئۡتَلَتَّخَذۡتَعَلَيۡهِأَجۡرٗا٧٧
Saheeh International

So they set out, until when they came to the people of a town, they asked its people for food, but they refused to offer them hospitality. And they found therein a wall about to collapse, so he [i.e., al-Khiḍr] restored it. [Moses] said, "If you wished, you could have taken for it a payment."

فَٱنطَلَقَاFaintalaqa
حَتَّىٰٓhatta
إِذَآitha
أَتَيَآataya
أَهْلَahla
قَرْيَةٍqaryatin
ٱسْتَطْعَمَآistatAAama
أَهْلَهَاahlaha
فَأَبَوْا۟faabaw
أَنan
يُضَيِّفُوهُمَاyudayyifoohuma
فَوَجَدَاfawajada
فِيهَاfeeha
جِدَارًۭاjidaran
يُرِيدُyureedu
أَنan
يَنقَضَّyanqadda
فَأَقَامَهُۥ ۖfaaqamahu
قَالَqala
لَوْlaw
شِئْتَshita
لَتَّخَذْتَlaittakhathta
عَلَيْهِAAalayhi
أَجْرًۭاajran
25:57
Open Ayah
قُلۡمَآأَسۡـَٔلُكُمۡعَلَيۡهِمِنۡأَجۡرٍإِلَّامَنشَآءَأَنيَتَّخِذَإِلَىٰرَبِّهِۦسَبِيلٗا٥٧
Saheeh International

Say, "I do not ask of you for it any payment - only that whoever wills might take to his Lord a way."

قُلْQul
مَآma
أَسْـَٔلُكُمْasalukum
عَلَيْهِAAalayhi
مِنْmin
أَجْرٍajrin
إِلَّاilla
مَنman
شَآءَshaa
أَنan
يَتَّخِذَyattakhitha
إِلَىٰila
رَبِّهِۦrabbihi
سَبِيلًۭاsabeelan
26:109
Open Ayah
وَمَآأَسۡـَٔلُكُمۡعَلَيۡهِمِنۡأَجۡرٍۖإِنۡأَجۡرِيَإِلَّاعَلَىٰرَبِّٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ١٠٩
Saheeh International

And I do not ask you for it any payment. My payment is only from the Lord of the worlds.

وَمَآWama

أَجْرِىَajriya

Open Ayah

Saheeh International

Saheeh International

Open Ayah
وَمَآأَسۡـَٔلُكُمۡعَلَيۡهِمِنۡأَجۡرٍۖإِنۡأَجۡرِيَإِلَّاعَلَىٰرَبِّٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ١٦٤
Saheeh International

And I do not ask you for it any payment. My payment is only from the Lord of the worlds.

Open Ayah
وَمَآأَسۡـَٔلُكُمۡعَلَيۡهِمِنۡأَجۡرٍۖإِنۡأَجۡرِيَإِلَّاعَلَىٰرَبِّٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ١٨٠
Saheeh International

And I do not ask you for it any payment. My payment is only from the Lord of the worlds.

وَمَآWama
أَسْـَٔلُكُمْasalukum
عَلَيْهِAAalayhi
مِنْmin
أَجْرٍ ۖajrin
إِنْin
أَجْرِىَajriya
إِلَّاilla
عَلَىٰAAala
رَبِّrabbi
ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَalAAalameena
34:47
Open Ayah
قُلۡمَاسَأَلۡتُكُممِّنۡأَجۡرٖفَهُوَلَكُمۡۖإِنۡأَجۡرِيَإِلَّاعَلَىٱللَّهِۖوَهُوَعَلَىٰكُلِّشَيۡءٖشَهِيدٞ٤٧
Saheeh International

Say, "Whatever payment I might have asked of you - it is yours. My payment is only from Allāh, and He is, over all things, Witness."

قُلْQul
مَاma
سَأَلْتُكُمsaaltukum
مِّنْmin
أَجْرٍۢajrin
فَهُوَfahuwa
لَكُمْ ۖlakum
إِنْin
أَجْرِىَajriya
إِلَّاilla
عَلَىAAala
ٱللَّهِ ۖAllahi
وَهُوَwahuwa
عَلَىٰAAala
كُلِّkulli
شَىْءٍۢshayin
شَهِيدٌۭshaheedun
36:21
Open Ayah
ٱتَّبِعُواْمَنلَّايَسۡـَٔلُكُمۡأَجۡرٗاوَهُممُّهۡتَدُونَ٢١
Saheeh International

Follow those who do not ask of you [any] payment, and they are [rightly] guided.

ٱتَّبِعُوا۟IttabiAAoo
مَنman
لَّاla
يَسْـَٔلُكُمْyasalukum
أَجْرًۭاajran
وَهُمwahum
مُّهْتَدُونَmuhtadoona
38:86
Open Ayah
قُلۡمَآأَسۡـَٔلُكُمۡعَلَيۡهِمِنۡأَجۡرٖوَمَآأَنَا۠مِنَٱلۡمُتَكَلِّفِينَ٨٦
Saheeh International

Say, [O Muḥammad], "I do not ask you for it [i.e., the Qur’ān] any payment, and I am not of the pretentious.

قُلْQul
مَآma
أَسْـَٔلُكُمْasalukum
عَلَيْهِAAalayhi
مِنْmin
أَجْرٍۢajrin
وَمَآwama
أَنَا۠ana
مِنَmina
ٱلْمُتَكَلِّفِينَalmutakallifeena
42:23
Open Ayah
ذَٰلِكَٱلَّذِييُبَشِّرُٱللَّهُعِبَادَهُٱلَّذِينَءَامَنُواْوَعَمِلُواْٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِۗقُللَّآأَسۡـَٔلُكُمۡعَلَيۡهِأَجۡرًاإِلَّاٱلۡمَوَدَّةَفِيٱلۡقُرۡبَىٰۗوَمَنيَقۡتَرِفۡحَسَنَةٗنَّزِدۡلَهُۥفِيهَاحُسۡنًاۚإِنَّٱللَّهَغَفُورٞشَكُورٌ٢٣
Saheeh International

It is that of which Allāh gives good tidings to His servants who believe and do righteous deeds. Say, [O Muḥammad], "I do not ask you for it [i.e., this message] any payment [but] only good will through [i.e., due to] kinship." And whoever commits a good deed - We will increase for him good therein. Indeed, Allāh is Forgiving and Appreciative.1

ذَٰلِكَThalika
ٱلَّذِىallathee
يُبَشِّرُyubashshiru
ٱللَّهُAllahu
عِبَادَهُAAibadahu
ٱلَّذِينَallatheena
ءَامَنُوا۟amanoo
وَعَمِلُوا۟waAAamiloo
ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ ۗalssalihati
قُلqul
لَّآla
أَسْـَٔلُكُمْasalukum
عَلَيْهِAAalayhi
أَجْرًاajran
إِلَّاilla
ٱلْمَوَدَّةَalmawaddata
فِىfee
ٱلْقُرْبَىٰ ۗalqurba
وَمَنwaman
يَقْتَرِفْyaqtarif
حَسَنَةًۭhasanatan
نَّزِدْnazid
لَهُۥlahu
فِيهَاfeeha
حُسْنًا ۚhusnan
إِنَّinna
ٱللَّهَAllaha
غَفُورٌۭghafoorun
شَكُورٌshakoorun
52:40
Open Ayah
أَمۡتَسۡـَٔلُهُمۡأَجۡرٗافَهُممِّنمَّغۡرَمٖمُّثۡقَلُونَ٤٠
Saheeh International

Or do you, [O Muḥammad], ask of them a payment, so they are by debt burdened down?

أَمْAm
تَسْـَٔلُهُمْtasaluhum
أَجْرًۭاajran
فَهُمfahum
مِّنmin
مَّغْرَمٍۢmaghramin
مُّثْقَلُونَmuthqaloona
65:6
Open Ayah
أَسۡكِنُوهُنَّمِنۡحَيۡثُسَكَنتُممِّنوُجۡدِكُمۡوَلَاتُضَآرُّوهُنَّلِتُضَيِّقُواْعَلَيۡهِنَّۚوَإِنكُنَّأُوْلَٰتِحَمۡلٖفَأَنفِقُواْعَلَيۡهِنَّحَتَّىٰيَضَعۡنَحَمۡلَهُنَّۚفَإِنۡأَرۡضَعۡنَلَكُمۡفَـَٔاتُوهُنَّأُجُورَهُنَّوَأۡتَمِرُواْبَيۡنَكُمبِمَعۡرُوفٖۖوَإِنتَعَاسَرۡتُمۡفَسَتُرۡضِعُلَهُۥٓأُخۡرَىٰ٦
Saheeh International

Lodge them1 [in a section] of where you dwell out of your means and do not harm them in order to oppress them.2 And if they should be pregnant, then spend on them until they give birth. And if they breastfeed for you, then give them their payment and confer among yourselves in the acceptable way; but if you are in discord, then there may breastfeed for him [i.e., the father] another woman.3

أَسْكِنُوهُنَّAskinoohunna
مِنْmin
حَيْثُhaythu
سَكَنتُمsakantum
مِّنmin
وُجْدِكُمْwujdikum
وَلَاwala
تُضَآرُّوهُنَّtudarroohunna
لِتُضَيِّقُوا۟litudayyiqoo
عَلَيْهِنَّ ۚAAalayhinna
وَإِنwain
كُنَّkunna
أُو۟لَـٰتِolati
حَمْلٍۢhamlin
فَأَنفِقُوا۟faanfiqoo
عَلَيْهِنَّAAalayhinna
حَتَّىٰhatta
يَضَعْنَyadaAAna
حَمْلَهُنَّ ۚhamlahunna
فَإِنْfain
أَرْضَعْنَardaAAna
لَكُمْlakum
فَـَٔاتُوهُنَّfaatoohunna
أُجُورَهُنَّ ۖojoorahunna
وَأْتَمِرُوا۟watamiroo
بَيْنَكُمbaynakum
بِمَعْرُوفٍۢ ۖbimaAAroofin
وَإِنwain
تَعَاسَرْتُمْtaAAasartum
فَسَتُرْضِعُfasaturdiAAu
لَهُۥٓlahu
أُخْرَىٰokhra
68:46
Open Ayah
أَمۡتَسۡـَٔلُهُمۡأَجۡرٗافَهُممِّنمَّغۡرَمٖمُّثۡقَلُونَ٤٦
Saheeh International

Or do you ask of them a payment, so they are by debt burdened down?
