44:37
Open Ayah
أَهُمۡخَيۡرٌأَمۡقَوۡمُتُبَّعٖوَٱلَّذِينَمِنقَبۡلِهِمۡأَهۡلَكۡنَٰهُمۡۚإِنَّهُمۡكَانُواْمُجۡرِمِينَ٣٧
Saheeh International

Are they better or the people of Tubbaʿ1 and those before them? We destroyed them, [for] indeed, they were criminals.

أَهُمْAhum
خَيْرٌkhayrun
أَمْam
قَوْمُqawmu
تُبَّعٍۢtubbaAAin
وَٱلَّذِينَwaallatheena
مِنmin
قَبْلِهِمْ ۚqablihim
أَهْلَكْنَـٰهُمْ ۖahlaknahum
إِنَّهُمْinnahum
كَانُوا۟kanoo
مُجْرِمِينَmujrimeena
50:14
Open Ayah
وَأَصۡحَٰبُٱلۡأَيۡكَةِوَقَوۡمُتُبَّعٖۚكُلّٞكَذَّبَٱلرُّسُلَفَحَقَّوَعِيدِ١٤
Saheeh International

And the companions of the thicket and the people of Tubbaʿ. All denied the messengers, so My threat was justly fulfilled.

وَأَصْحَـٰبُWaashabu
ٱلْأَيْكَةِalaykati
وَقَوْمُwaqawmu
تُبَّعٍۢ ۚtubbaAAin
كُلٌّۭkullun
كَذَّبَkaththaba
ٱلرُّسُلَalrrusula
فَحَقَّfahaqqa
وَعِيدِwaAAeedi
