Trees

Do you not see [i.e., know] that to Allāh prostrates whoever is in the heavens and whoever is on the earth and the sun, the moon, the stars, the mountains, the trees, the moving creatures and many of the people? But upon many the punishment has been justified.¹ And he whom Allāh humiliates - for him there is no bestower of honor. Indeed, Allāh does what He wills.

And [We brought forth] a tree issuing from Mount Sinai which produces oil and food [i.e., olives] for those who eat.

[More precisely], is He [not best] who created the heavens and the earth and sent down for you rain from the sky, causing to grow thereby gardens of joyful beauty which you could not [otherwise] have grown the trees thereof? Is there a deity with Allāh?¹ [No], but they are a people who ascribe equals [to Him].

And if whatever trees upon the earth were pens and the sea [was ink], replenished thereafter by seven [more] seas, the words¹ of Allāh would not be exhausted. Indeed, Allāh is Exalted in Might and Wise.

[It is] He who made for you from the green tree, fire, and then from it you ignite.

And the stars and trees prostrate.¹

Is it you who produced its tree, or are We the producer?
