أَفَرَءَيۡتُممَّاتَحۡرُثُونَ٦٣
Saheeh International

And have you seen that [seed] which you sow?

أَفَرَءَيْتُمAfaraaytum
مَّاma
تَحْرُثُونَtahruthoona
ءَأَنتُمۡتَزۡرَعُونَهُۥٓأَمۡنَحۡنُٱلزَّٰرِعُونَ٦٤
Saheeh International

Is it you who makes it grow, or are We the grower?

ءَأَنتُمْAantum
تَزْرَعُونَهُۥٓtazraAAoonahu
أَمْam
نَحْنُnahnu
ٱلزَّٰرِعُونَalzzariAAoona
لَوۡنَشَآءُلَجَعَلۡنَٰهُحُطَٰمٗافَظَلۡتُمۡتَفَكَّهُونَ٦٥
Saheeh International

If We willed, We could make it [dry] debris, and you would remain in wonder,1

لَوْLaw
نَشَآءُnashao
لَجَعَلْنَـٰهُlajaAAalnahu
حُطَـٰمًۭاhutaman
فَظَلْتُمْfathaltum
تَفَكَّهُونَtafakkahoona
إِنَّالَمُغۡرَمُونَ٦٦
Saheeh International

[Saying], "Indeed, we are [now] in debt;

إِنَّاInna
لَمُغْرَمُونَlamughramoona
بَلۡنَحۡنُمَحۡرُومُونَ٦٧
Saheeh International

Rather, we have been deprived."
