وَٱعۡتَصِمُواْبِحَبۡلِٱللَّهِجَمِيعٗاوَلَاتَفَرَّقُواْۚوَٱذۡكُرُواْنِعۡمَتَٱللَّهِعَلَيۡكُمۡإِذۡكُنتُمۡأَعۡدَآءٗفَأَلَّفَبَيۡنَقُلُوبِكُمۡفَأَصۡبَحۡتُمبِنِعۡمَتِهِۦٓإِخۡوَٰنٗاوَكُنتُمۡعَلَىٰشَفَاحُفۡرَةٖمِّنَٱلنَّارِفَأَنقَذَكُممِّنۡهَاۗكَذَٰلِكَيُبَيِّنُٱللَّهُلَكُمۡءَايَٰتِهِۦلَعَلَّكُمۡتَهۡتَدُونَ١٠٣
Saheeh International

And hold firmly to the rope1 of Allāh all together and do not become divided. And remember the favor of Allāh upon you - when you were enemies and He brought your hearts together and you became, by His favor, brothers. And you were on the edge of a pit of the Fire, and He saved you from it. Thus does Allāh make clear to you His verses that you may be guided.

وَٱعْتَصِمُوا۟WaiAAtasimoo
بِحَبْلِbihabli
ٱللَّهِAllahi
جَمِيعًۭاjameeAAan
وَلَاwala
تَفَرَّقُوا۟ ۚtafarraqoo
وَٱذْكُرُوا۟waothkuroo
نِعْمَتَniAAmata
ٱللَّهِAllahi
عَلَيْكُمْAAalaykum
إِذْith
كُنتُمْkuntum
أَعْدَآءًۭaAAdaan
فَأَلَّفَfaallafa
بَيْنَbayna
قُلُوبِكُمْquloobikum
فَأَصْبَحْتُمfaasbahtum
بِنِعْمَتِهِۦٓbiniAAmatihi
إِخْوَٰنًۭاikhwanan
وَكُنتُمْwakuntum
عَلَىٰAAala
شَفَاshafa
حُفْرَةٍۢhufratin
مِّنَmina
ٱلنَّارِalnnari
فَأَنقَذَكُمfaanqathakum
مِّنْهَا ۗminha
كَذَٰلِكَkathalika
يُبَيِّنُyubayyinu
ٱللَّهُAllahu
لَكُمْlakum
ءَايَـٰتِهِۦayatihi
لَعَلَّكُمْlaAAallakum
تَهْتَدُونَtahtadoona
إِنَّٱلَّذِينَفَرَّقُواْدِينَهُمۡوَكَانُواْشِيَعٗالَّسۡتَمِنۡهُمۡفِيشَيۡءٍۚإِنَّمَآأَمۡرُهُمۡإِلَىٱللَّهِثُمَّيُنَبِّئُهُمبِمَاكَانُواْيَفۡعَلُونَ١٥٩
Saheeh International

Indeed, those who have divided their religion and become sects - you, [O Muḥammad], are not [associated] with them in anything. Their affair is only [left] to Allāh; then He will inform them about what they used to do.

إِنَّInna
ٱلَّذِينَallatheena
فَرَّقُوا۟farraqoo
دِينَهُمْdeenahum
وَكَانُوا۟wakanoo
شِيَعًۭاshiyaAAan
لَّسْتَlasta
مِنْهُمْminhum
فِىfee
شَىْءٍ ۚshayin
إِنَّمَآinnama
أَمْرُهُمْamruhum
إِلَىila
ٱللَّهِAllahi
ثُمَّthumma
يُنَبِّئُهُمyunabbiohum
بِمَاbima
كَانُوا۟kanoo
يَفْعَلُونَyafAAaloona
مِنَٱلَّذِينَفَرَّقُواْدِينَهُمۡوَكَانُواْشِيَعٗاۖكُلُّحِزۡبِۭبِمَالَدَيۡهِمۡفَرِحُونَ٣٢
Saheeh International

[Or] of those who have divided their religion and become sects, every faction rejoicing in what it has.1

مِنَMina
ٱلَّذِينَallatheena
فَرَّقُوا۟farraqoo
دِينَهُمْdeenahum
وَكَانُوا۟wakanoo
شِيَعًۭا ۖshiyaAAan
كُلُّkullu
حِزْبٍۭhizbin
بِمَاbima
لَدَيْهِمْladayhim
فَرِحُونَfarihoona
فَٱخۡتَلَفَٱلۡأَحۡزَابُمِنۢبَيۡنِهِمۡۖفَوَيۡلٞلِّلَّذِينَظَلَمُواْمِنۡعَذَابِيَوۡمٍأَلِيمٍ٦٥
Saheeh International

But the denominations from among them differed [and separated], so woe to those who have wronged from the punishment of a painful Day.

فَٱخْتَلَفَFaikhtalafa
ٱلْأَحْزَابُalahzabu
مِنۢmin
بَيْنِهِمْ ۖbaynihim
فَوَيْلٌۭfawaylun
لِّلَّذِينَlillatheena
ظَلَمُوا۟thalamoo
مِنْmin
عَذَابِAAathabi
يَوْمٍyawmin
أَلِيمٍaleemin
