وَلَاتَأۡكُلُوٓاْأَمۡوَٰلَكُمبَيۡنَكُمبِٱلۡبَٰطِلِوَتُدۡلُواْبِهَآإِلَىٱلۡحُكَّامِلِتَأۡكُلُواْفَرِيقٗامِّنۡأَمۡوَٰلِٱلنَّاسِبِٱلۡإِثۡمِوَأَنتُمۡتَعۡلَمُونَ١٨٨
Saheeh International

And do not consume one another's wealth unjustly or send it [in bribery] to the rulers in order that [they might aid] you [to] consume a portion of the wealth of the people in sin, while you know [it is unlawful].

وَلَاWala
تَأْكُلُوٓا۟takuloo
أَمْوَٰلَكُمamwalakum
بَيْنَكُمbaynakum
بِٱلْبَـٰطِلِbialbatili
وَتُدْلُوا۟watudloo
بِهَآbiha
إِلَىila
ٱلْحُكَّامِalhukkami
لِتَأْكُلُوا۟litakuloo
فَرِيقًۭاfareeqan
مِّنْmin
أَمْوَٰلِamwali
ٱلنَّاسِalnnasi
بِٱلْإِثْمِbialithmi
وَأَنتُمْwaantum
تَعْلَمُونَtaAAlamoona
۞ لَتُبۡلَوُنَّفِيٓأَمۡوَٰلِكُمۡوَأَنفُسِكُمۡوَلَتَسۡمَعُنَّمِنَٱلَّذِينَأُوتُواْٱلۡكِتَٰبَمِنقَبۡلِكُمۡوَمِنَٱلَّذِينَأَشۡرَكُوٓاْأَذٗىكَثِيرٗاۚوَإِنتَصۡبِرُواْوَتَتَّقُواْفَإِنَّذَٰلِكَمِنۡعَزۡمِٱلۡأُمُورِ١٨٦
Saheeh International

You will surely be tested in your possessions and in yourselves. And you will surely hear from those who were given the Scripture before you and from those who associate others with Allāh much abuse. But if you are patient and fear Allāh - indeed, that is of the matters [worthy] of resolve.

۞ لَتُبْلَوُنَّLatublawunna
فِىٓfee
أَمْوَٰلِكُمْamwalikum
وَأَنفُسِكُمْwaanfusikum
وَلَتَسْمَعُنَّwalatasmaAAunna
مِنَmina
ٱلَّذِينَallatheena
أُوتُوا۟ootoo
ٱلْكِتَـٰبَalkitaba
مِنmin
قَبْلِكُمْqablikum
وَمِنَwamina
ٱلَّذِينَallatheena
أَشْرَكُوٓا۟ashrakoo
أَذًۭىathan
كَثِيرًۭا ۚkatheeran
وَإِنwain
تَصْبِرُوا۟tasbiroo
وَتَتَّقُوا۟watattaqoo
فَإِنَّfainna
ذَٰلِكَthalika
مِنْmin
عَزْمِAAazmi
ٱلْأُمُورِalomoori
يَٰٓأَيُّهَاٱلَّذِينَءَامَنُواْلَاتَأۡكُلُوٓاْأَمۡوَٰلَكُمبَيۡنَكُمبِٱلۡبَٰطِلِإِلَّآأَنتَكُونَتِجَٰرَةًعَنتَرَاضٖمِّنكُمۡۚوَلَاتَقۡتُلُوٓاْأَنفُسَكُمۡۚإِنَّٱللَّهَكَانَبِكُمۡرَحِيمٗا٢٩
Saheeh International

O you who have believed, do not consume one another's wealth unjustly1 but only [in lawful] business by mutual consent. And do not kill yourselves [or one another]. Indeed, Allāh is to you ever Merciful.

يَـٰٓأَيُّهَاYaayyuha
ٱلَّذِينَallatheena
ءَامَنُوا۟amanoo
لَاla
تَأْكُلُوٓا۟takuloo
أَمْوَٰلَكُمamwalakum
بَيْنَكُمbaynakum
بِٱلْبَـٰطِلِbialbatili
إِلَّآilla
أَنan
تَكُونَtakoona
تِجَـٰرَةًtijaratan
عَنAAan
تَرَاضٍۢtaradin
مِّنكُمْ ۚminkum
وَلَاwala
تَقْتُلُوٓا۟taqtuloo
أَنفُسَكُمْ ۚanfusakum
إِنَّinna
ٱللَّهَAllaha
كَانَkana
بِكُمْbikum
رَحِيمًۭاraheeman
وَلَاتُؤۡتُواْٱلسُّفَهَآءَأَمۡوَٰلَكُمُٱلَّتِيجَعَلَٱللَّهُلَكُمۡقِيَٰمٗاوَٱرۡزُقُوهُمۡفِيهَاوَٱكۡسُوهُمۡوَقُولُواْلَهُمۡقَوۡلٗامَّعۡرُوفٗا٥
Saheeh International

And do not give the weak-minded your property,1 which Allāh has made a means of sustenance for you, but provide for them with it and clothe them and speak to them words of appropriate kindness.

وَلَاWala
تُؤْتُوا۟tutoo
ٱلسُّفَهَآءَalssufahaa
أَمْوَٰلَكُمُamwalakumu
ٱلَّتِىallatee
جَعَلَjaAAala
ٱللَّهُAllahu
لَكُمْlakum
قِيَـٰمًۭاqiyaman
وَٱرْزُقُوهُمْwaorzuqoohum
فِيهَاfeeha
وَٱكْسُوهُمْwaoksoohum
وَقُولُوا۟waqooloo
لَهُمْlahum
قَوْلًۭاqawlan
مَّعْرُوفًۭاmaAAroofan
لِّلرِّجَالِنَصِيبٞمِّمَّاتَرَكَٱلۡوَٰلِدَانِوَٱلۡأَقۡرَبُونَوَلِلنِّسَآءِنَصِيبٞمِّمَّاتَرَكَٱلۡوَٰلِدَانِوَٱلۡأَقۡرَبُونَمِمَّاقَلَّمِنۡهُأَوۡكَثُرَۚنَصِيبٗامَّفۡرُوضٗا٧
Saheeh International

For men is a share of what the parents and close relatives leave, and for women is a share of what the parents and close relatives leave, be it little or much - an obligatory share.

لِّلرِّجَالِLilrrijali
نَصِيبٌۭnaseebun
مِّمَّاmimma
تَرَكَtaraka
ٱلْوَٰلِدَانِalwalidani
وَٱلْأَقْرَبُونَwaalaqraboona
وَلِلنِّسَآءِwalilnnisai
نَصِيبٌۭnaseebun
مِّمَّاmimma
تَرَكَtaraka
ٱلْوَٰلِدَانِalwalidani
وَٱلْأَقْرَبُونَwaalaqraboona
مِمَّاmimma
قَلَّqalla
مِنْهُminhu
أَوْaw
كَثُرَ ۚkathura
نَصِيبًۭاnaseeban
مَّفْرُوضًۭاmafroodan
وَفِيٓأَمۡوَٰلِهِمۡحَقّٞلِّلسَّآئِلِوَٱلۡمَحۡرُومِ١٩
Saheeh International

And from their properties was [given] the right of the [needy] petitioner and the deprived.

وَفِىٓWafee
أَمْوَٰلِهِمْamwalihim
حَقٌّۭhaqqun
لِّلسَّآئِلِlilssaili
وَٱلْمَحْرُومِwaalmahroomi
مَّآأَفَآءَٱللَّهُعَلَىٰرَسُولِهِۦمِنۡأَهۡلِٱلۡقُرَىٰفَلِلَّهِوَلِلرَّسُولِوَلِذِيٱلۡقُرۡبَىٰوَٱلۡيَتَٰمَىٰوَٱلۡمَسَٰكِينِوَٱبۡنِٱلسَّبِيلِكَيۡلَايَكُونَدُولَةَۢبَيۡنَٱلۡأَغۡنِيَآءِمِنكُمۡۚوَمَآءَاتَىٰكُمُٱلرَّسُولُفَخُذُوهُوَمَانَهَىٰكُمۡعَنۡهُفَٱنتَهُواْۚوَٱتَّقُواْٱللَّهَۖإِنَّٱللَّهَشَدِيدُٱلۡعِقَابِ٧
Saheeh International

And what Allāh restored to His Messenger from the people of the towns - it is for Allāh and for the Messenger and for [his] near relatives1 and orphans and the needy and the [stranded] traveler2 - so that it will not be a perpetual distribution among the rich from among you. And whatever the Messenger has given you - take; and what he has forbidden you - refrain from. And fear Allāh; indeed, Allāh is severe in penalty.

مَّآMa
أَفَآءَafaa
ٱللَّهُAllahu
عَلَىٰAAala
رَسُولِهِۦrasoolihi
مِنْmin
أَهْلِahli
ٱلْقُرَىٰalqura
فَلِلَّهِfalillahi
وَلِلرَّسُولِwalilrrasooli
وَلِذِىwalithee
ٱلْقُرْبَىٰalqurba
وَٱلْيَتَـٰمَىٰwaalyatama
وَٱلْمَسَـٰكِينِwaalmasakeeni
وَٱبْنِwaibni
ٱلسَّبِيلِalssabeeli
كَىْkay
لَاla
يَكُونَyakoona
دُولَةًۢdoolatan
بَيْنَbayna
ٱلْأَغْنِيَآءِalaghniyai
مِنكُمْ ۚminkum
وَمَآwama
ءَاتَىٰكُمُatakumu
ٱلرَّسُولُalrrasoolu
فَخُذُوهُfakhuthoohu
وَمَاwama
نَهَىٰكُمْnahakum
عَنْهُAAanhu
فَٱنتَهُوا۟ ۚfaintahoo
وَٱتَّقُوا۟waittaqoo
ٱللَّهَ ۖAllaha
إِنَّinna
ٱللَّهَAllaha
شَدِيدُshadeedu
ٱلْعِقَابِalAAiqabi
لِلۡفُقَرَآءِٱلۡمُهَٰجِرِينَٱلَّذِينَأُخۡرِجُواْمِندِيَٰرِهِمۡوَأَمۡوَٰلِهِمۡيَبۡتَغُونَفَضۡلٗامِّنَٱللَّهِوَرِضۡوَٰنٗاوَيَنصُرُونَٱللَّهَوَرَسُولَهُۥٓۚأُوْلَٰٓئِكَهُمُٱلصَّٰدِقُونَ٨
Saheeh International

For the poor emigrants who were expelled from their homes and their properties, seeking bounty from Allāh and [His] approval and supporting [the cause of] Allāh and His Messenger, [there is also a share]. Those are the truthful.

لِلْفُقَرَآءِLilfuqarai
ٱلْمُهَـٰجِرِينَalmuhajireena
ٱلَّذِينَallatheena
أُخْرِجُوا۟okhrijoo
مِنmin
دِيَـٰرِهِمْdiyarihim
وَأَمْوَٰلِهِمْwaamwalihim
يَبْتَغُونَyabtaghoona
فَضْلًۭاfadlan
مِّنَmina
ٱللَّهِAllahi
وَرِضْوَٰنًۭاwaridwanan
وَيَنصُرُونَwayansuroona
ٱللَّهَAllaha
وَرَسُولَهُۥٓ ۚwarasoolahu
أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَolaika
هُمُhumu
ٱلصَّـٰدِقُونَalssadiqoona
وَٱلَّذِينَتَبَوَّءُوٱلدَّارَوَٱلۡإِيمَٰنَمِنقَبۡلِهِمۡيُحِبُّونَمَنۡهَاجَرَإِلَيۡهِمۡوَلَايَجِدُونَفِيصُدُورِهِمۡحَاجَةٗمِّمَّآأُوتُواْوَيُؤۡثِرُونَعَلَىٰٓأَنفُسِهِمۡوَلَوۡكَانَبِهِمۡخَصَاصَةٞۚوَمَنيُوقَشُحَّنَفۡسِهِۦفَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَهُمُٱلۡمُفۡلِحُونَ٩
Saheeh International

And [also for] those who were settled in the Home [i.e.,al-Madīnah] and [adopted] the faith before them.1 They love those who emigrated to them and find not any want in their breasts of what they [i.e., the emigrants] were given but give [them] preference over themselves, even though they are in privation. And whoever is protected from the stinginess of his soul - it is those who will be the successful.

وَٱلَّذِينَWaallatheena
تَبَوَّءُوtabawwaoo
ٱلدَّارَalddara
وَٱلْإِيمَـٰنَwaaleemana
مِنmin
قَبْلِهِمْqablihim
يُحِبُّونَyuhibboona
مَنْman
هَاجَرَhajara
إِلَيْهِمْilayhim
وَلَاwala
يَجِدُونَyajidoona
فِىfee
صُدُورِهِمْsudoorihim
حَاجَةًۭhajatan
مِّمَّآmimma
أُوتُوا۟ootoo
وَيُؤْثِرُونَwayuthiroona
عَلَىٰٓAAala
أَنفُسِهِمْanfusihim
وَلَوْwalaw
كَانَkana
بِهِمْbihim
خَصَاصَةٌۭ ۚkhasasatun
وَمَنwaman
يُوقَyooqa
شُحَّshuhha
نَفْسِهِۦnafsihi
فَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَfaolaika
هُمُhumu
ٱلْمُفْلِحُونَalmuflihoona
لِّلسَّآئِلِوَٱلۡمَحۡرُومِ٢٥
Saheeh International

For the petitioner and the deprived -

لِّلسَّآئِلِLilssaili
وَٱلْمَحْرُومِwaalmahroomi
