Open Ayah
لَايُكَلِّفُٱللَّهُنَفۡسًاإِلَّاوُسۡعَهَاۚلَهَامَاكَسَبَتۡوَعَلَيۡهَامَاٱكۡتَسَبَتۡۗرَبَّنَالَاتُؤَاخِذۡنَآإِننَّسِينَآأَوۡأَخۡطَأۡنَاۚرَبَّنَاوَلَاتَحۡمِلۡعَلَيۡنَآإِصۡرٗاكَمَاحَمَلۡتَهُۥعَلَىٱلَّذِينَمِنقَبۡلِنَاۚرَبَّنَاوَلَاتُحَمِّلۡنَامَالَاطَاقَةَلَنَابِهِۦۖوَٱعۡفُعَنَّاوَٱغۡفِرۡلَنَاوَٱرۡحَمۡنَآۚأَنتَمَوۡلَىٰنَافَٱنصُرۡنَاعَلَىٱلۡقَوۡمِٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ٢٨٦
Saheeh International

Allāh does not charge a soul except [with that within] its capacity. It will have [the consequence of] what [good] it has gained, and it will bear [the consequence of] what [evil] it has earned. "Our Lord, do not impose blame upon us if we have forgotten or erred. Our Lord, and lay not upon us a burden like that which You laid upon those before us. Our Lord, and burden us not with that which we have no ability to bear. And pardon us; and forgive us; and have mercy upon us. You are our protector, so give us victory over the disbelieving people."1

يُكَلِّفُyukallifu
ٱللَّهُAllahu
نَفْسًاnafsan
إِلَّاilla
وُسْعَهَا ۚwusAAaha
لَهَاlaha
مَاma
كَسَبَتْkasabat
وَعَلَيْهَاwaAAalayha
مَاma
ٱكْتَسَبَتْ ۗiktasabat
رَبَّنَاrabbana
لَاla
تُؤَاخِذْنَآtuakhithna
إِنin
نَّسِينَآnaseena
أَوْaw
أَخْطَأْنَا ۚakhtana
رَبَّنَاrabbana
وَلَاwala
تَحْمِلْtahmil
عَلَيْنَآAAalayna
إِصْرًۭاisran
كَمَاkama
حَمَلْتَهُۥhamaltahu
عَلَىAAala
ٱلَّذِينَallatheena
مِنmin
قَبْلِنَا ۚqablina
رَبَّنَاrabbana
وَلَاwala
تُحَمِّلْنَاtuhammilna
مَاma
لَاla
طَاقَةَtaqata
لَنَاlana
بِهِۦ ۖbihi
وَٱعْفُwaoAAfu
عَنَّاAAanna
وَٱغْفِرْwaighfir
لَنَاlana
وَٱرْحَمْنَآ ۚwairhamna
أَنتَanta
مَوْلَىٰنَاmawlana
فَٱنصُرْنَاfaonsurna
عَلَىAAala
ٱلْقَوْمِalqawmi
ٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَalkafireena
7:42
Open Ayah
وَٱلَّذِينَءَامَنُواْوَعَمِلُواْٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِلَانُكَلِّفُنَفۡسًاإِلَّاوُسۡعَهَآأُوْلَٰٓئِكَأَصۡحَٰبُٱلۡجَنَّةِۖهُمۡفِيهَاخَٰلِدُونَ٤٢
Saheeh International

But those who believed and did righteous deeds - We charge no soul except [within] its capacity. Those are the companions of Paradise; they will abide therein eternally.

وَٱلَّذِينَWaallatheena
ءَامَنُوا۟amanoo
وَعَمِلُوا۟waAAamiloo
ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِalssalihati
لَاla
نُكَلِّفُnukallifu
نَفْسًاnafsan
إِلَّاilla
وُسْعَهَآwusAAaha
أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَolaika
أَصْحَـٰبُashabu
ٱلْجَنَّةِ ۖaljannati
هُمْhum
فِيهَاfeeha
خَـٰلِدُونَkhalidoona
23:62
Open Ayah
وَلَانُكَلِّفُنَفۡسًاإِلَّاوُسۡعَهَاۚوَلَدَيۡنَاكِتَٰبٞيَنطِقُبِٱلۡحَقِّوَهُمۡلَايُظۡلَمُونَ٦٢
Saheeh International

And We charge no soul except [with that within] its capacity, and with Us is a record which speaks with truth; and they will not be wronged.

وَلَاWala

نَفْسًاnafsan
إِلَّاilla
وُسْعَهَا ۖwusAAaha
وَلَدَيْنَاwaladayna
كِتَـٰبٌۭkitabun
يَنطِقُyantiqu
بِٱلْحَقِّ ۚbialhaqqi
وَهُمْwahum
لَاla
يُظْلَمُونَyuthlamoona
