23:19
Open Ayah
فَأَنشَأۡنَالَكُمبِهِۦجَنَّٰتٖمِّننَّخِيلٖوَأَعۡنَٰبٖلَّكُمۡفِيهَافَوَٰكِهُكَثِيرَةٞوَمِنۡهَاتَأۡكُلُونَ١٩
Saheeh International

And We brought forth for you thereby gardens of palm trees and grapevines in which for you are abundant fruits and from which you eat.

فَأَنشَأْنَاFaanshana
لَكُمlakum
بِهِۦbihi
جَنَّـٰتٍۢjannatin
مِّنmin
نَّخِيلٍۢnakheelin
وَأَعْنَـٰبٍۢwaaAAnabin
لَّكُمْlakum
فِيهَاfeeha
فَوَٰكِهُfawakihu
كَثِيرَةٌۭkatheeratun
وَمِنْهَاwaminha
تَأْكُلُونَtakuloona
23:20
Open Ayah
وَشَجَرَةٗتَخۡرُجُمِنطُورِسَيۡنَآءَتَنۢبُتُبِٱلدُّهۡنِوَصِبۡغٖلِّلۡأٓكِلِينَ٢٠
Saheeh International

And [We brought forth] a tree issuing from Mount Sinai which produces oil and food [i.e., olives] for those who eat.

وَشَجَرَةًۭWashajaratan
تَخْرُجُtakhruju
مِنmin
طُورِtoori
سَيْنَآءَsaynaa
تَنۢبُتُtanbutu
بِٱلدُّهْنِbialdduhni
وَصِبْغٍۢwasibghin
لِّلْـَٔاكِلِينَlilakileena
24:35
Open Ayah
۞ ٱللَّهُنُورُٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِوَٱلۡأَرۡضِۚمَثَلُنُورِهِۦكَمِشۡكَوٰةٖفِيهَامِصۡبَاحٌۖٱلۡمِصۡبَاحُفِيزُجَاجَةٍۖٱلزُّجَاجَةُكَأَنَّهَاكَوۡكَبٞدُرِّيّٞيُوقَدُمِنشَجَرَةٖمُّبَٰرَكَةٖزَيۡتُونَةٖلَّاشَرۡقِيَّةٖوَلَاغَرۡبِيَّةٖيَكَادُزَيۡتُهَايُضِيٓءُوَلَوۡلَمۡتَمۡسَسۡهُنَارٞۚنُّورٌعَلَىٰنُورٖۚيَهۡدِيٱللَّهُلِنُورِهِۦمَنيَشَآءُۚوَيَضۡرِبُٱللَّهُٱلۡأَمۡثَٰلَلِلنَّاسِۗوَٱللَّهُبِكُلِّشَيۡءٍعَلِيمٞ٣٥
Saheeh International

Allāh is the Light1 of the heavens and the earth. The example of His light2 is like a niche within which is a lamp;3 the lamp is within glass, the glass as if it were a pearly [white] star lit from [the oil of] a blessed olive tree, neither of the east nor of the west, whose oil would almost glow even if untouched by fire. Light upon light. Allāh guides to His light whom He wills. And Allāh presents examples for the people, and Allāh is Knowing of all things.

۞ ٱللَّهُAllahu
نُورُnooru
ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِalssamawati
وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۚwaalardi
مَثَلُmathalu
نُورِهِۦnoorihi
كَمِشْكَوٰةٍۢkamishkatin
فِيهَاfeeha
مِصْبَاحٌ ۖmisbahun
ٱلْمِصْبَاحُalmisbahu
فِىfee
زُجَاجَةٍ ۖzujajatin
ٱلزُّجَاجَةُalzzujajatu
كَأَنَّهَاkaannaha
كَوْكَبٌۭkawkabun
دُرِّىٌّۭdurriyyun
يُوقَدُyooqadu
مِنmin
شَجَرَةٍۢshajaratin
مُّبَـٰرَكَةٍۢmubarakatin
زَيْتُونَةٍۢzaytoonatin
لَّاla
شَرْقِيَّةٍۢsharqiyyatin
وَلَاwala
غَرْبِيَّةٍۢgharbiyyatin
يَكَادُyakadu
زَيْتُهَاzaytuha
يُضِىٓءُyudeeo
وَلَوْwalaw
لَمْlam
تَمْسَسْهُtamsashu
نَارٌۭ ۚnarun
نُّورٌnoorun
عَلَىٰAAala
نُورٍۢ ۗnoorin
يَهْدِىyahdee
ٱللَّهُAllahu
لِنُورِهِۦlinoorihi
مَنman
يَشَآءُ ۚyashao
وَيَضْرِبُwayadribu
ٱللَّهُAllahu
ٱلْأَمْثَـٰلَalamthala
لِلنَّاسِ ۗlilnnasi
وَٱللَّهُwaAllahu
بِكُلِّbikulli
شَىْءٍshayin
عَلِيمٌۭAAaleemun
55:37
Open Ayah
فَإِذَاٱنشَقَّتِٱلسَّمَآءُفَكَانَتۡوَرۡدَةٗكَٱلدِّهَانِ٣٧
Saheeh International

And when the heaven is split open and becomes rose-colored like oil1 -

فَإِذَاFaitha
ٱنشَقَّتِinshaqqati
ٱلسَّمَآءُalssamao
فَكَانَتْfakanat
وَرْدَةًۭwardatan
كَٱلدِّهَانِkaalddihani
