2:104
Open Ayah
يَٰٓأَيُّهَاٱلَّذِينَءَامَنُواْلَاتَقُولُواْرَٰعِنَاوَقُولُواْٱنظُرۡنَاوَٱسۡمَعُواْۗوَلِلۡكَٰفِرِينَعَذَابٌأَلِيمٞ١٠٤
Saheeh International

O you who have believed, say not [to Allāh's Messenger], "Rāʿinā" but say, "Unẓurnā"1 and listen. And for the disbelievers is a painful punishment.

يَـٰٓأَيُّهَاYaayyuha
ٱلَّذِينَallatheena
ءَامَنُوا۟amanoo
لَاla
تَقُولُوا۟taqooloo
رَٰعِنَاraAAina
وَقُولُوا۟waqooloo
ٱنظُرْنَاonthurna
وَٱسْمَعُوا۟ ۗwaismaAAoo
وَلِلْكَـٰفِرِينَwalilkafireena
عَذَابٌAAathabun
أَلِيمٌۭaleemun
4:46
Open Ayah
مِّنَٱلَّذِينَهَادُواْيُحَرِّفُونَٱلۡكَلِمَعَنمَّوَاضِعِهِۦوَيَقُولُونَسَمِعۡنَاوَعَصَيۡنَاوَٱسۡمَعۡغَيۡرَمُسۡمَعٖوَرَٰعِنَالَيَّۢابِأَلۡسِنَتِهِمۡوَطَعۡنٗافِيٱلدِّينِۚوَلَوۡأَنَّهُمۡقَالُواْسَمِعۡنَاوَأَطَعۡنَاوَٱسۡمَعۡوَٱنظُرۡنَالَكَانَخَيۡرٗالَّهُمۡوَأَقۡوَمَوَلَٰكِنلَّعَنَهُمُٱللَّهُبِكُفۡرِهِمۡفَلَايُؤۡمِنُونَإِلَّاقَلِيلٗا٤٦
Saheeh International

Among the Jews are those who distort words from their [proper] places [i.e., usages] and say, "We hear and disobey" and "Hear but be not heard" and "Rāʿinā,"1 twisting their tongues and defaming the religion. And if they had said [instead], "We hear and obey" and "Wait for us [to understand]," it would have been better for them and more suitable. But Allāh has cursed them for their disbelief, so they believe not, except for a few.2

ٱلَّذِينَallatheena
هَادُوا۟hadoo
يُحَرِّفُونَyuharrifoona
ٱلْكَلِمَalkalima
عَنAAan
مَّوَاضِعِهِۦmawadiAAihi
وَيَقُولُونَwayaqooloona
سَمِعْنَاsamiAAna
وَعَصَيْنَاwaAAasayna
وَٱسْمَعْwaismaAA
غَيْرَghayra
مُسْمَعٍۢmusmaAAin
وَرَٰعِنَاwaraAAina
لَيًّۢاlayyan
بِأَلْسِنَتِهِمْbialsinatihim
وَطَعْنًۭاwataAAnan
فِىfee
ٱلدِّينِ ۚalddeeni
وَلَوْwalaw
أَنَّهُمْannahum
قَالُوا۟qaloo
سَمِعْنَاsamiAAna
وَأَطَعْنَاwaataAAna
وَٱسْمَعْwaismaAA
وَٱنظُرْنَاwaonthurna
لَكَانَlakana
خَيْرًۭاkhayran
لَّهُمْlahum
وَأَقْوَمَwaaqwama
وَلَـٰكِنwalakin
لَّعَنَهُمُlaAAanahumu
ٱللَّهُAllahu
بِكُفْرِهِمْbikufrihim
فَلَاfala
يُؤْمِنُونَyuminoona
إِلَّاilla
قَلِيلًۭاqaleelan
25:41
Open Ayah
وَإِذَارَأَوۡكَإِنيَتَّخِذُونَكَإِلَّاهُزُوًاأَهَٰذَاٱلَّذِيبَعَثَٱللَّهُرَسُولًا٤١
Saheeh International

And when they see you, [O Muḥammad], they take you not except in ridicule, [saying], "Is this the one whom Allāh has sent as a messenger?

وَإِذَاWaitha
رَأَوْكَraawka
إِنin
يَتَّخِذُونَكَyattakhithoonaka
إِلَّاilla
هُزُوًاhuzuwan
أَهَـٰذَاahatha
ٱلَّذِىallathee
بَعَثَbaAAatha
ٱللَّهُAllahu
رَسُولًاrasoolan
25:42
Open Ayah
إِنكَادَلَيُضِلُّنَاعَنۡءَالِهَتِنَالَوۡلَآأَنصَبَرۡنَاعَلَيۡهَاۚوَسَوۡفَيَعۡلَمُونَحِينَيَرَوۡنَٱلۡعَذَابَمَنۡأَضَلُّسَبِيلًا٤٢
Saheeh International

He almost would have misled us from our gods had we not been steadfast in [worship of] them." But they are going to know, when they see the punishment, who is farthest astray in [his] way.

يَرَوْنَyarawna
ٱلْعَذَابَalAAathaba
مَنْman
أَضَلُّadallu
سَبِيلًاsabeelan
