تَبَّتۡيَدَآأَبِيلَهَبٖوَتَبَّ١
Saheeh International

May the hands of Abū Lahab be ruined, and ruined is he.1

تَبَّتْTabbat
يَدَآyada
أَبِىabee
لَهَبٍۢlahabin
وَتَبَّwatabba
مَآأَغۡنَىٰعَنۡهُمَالُهُۥوَمَاكَسَبَ٢
Saheeh International

His wealth will not avail him or that which he gained.

مَآMa
أَغْنَىٰaghna
عَنْهُAAanhu
مَالُهُۥmaluhu
وَمَاwama
كَسَبَkasaba
سَيَصۡلَىٰنَارٗاذَاتَلَهَبٖ٣
Saheeh International

He will [enter to] burn in a Fire of [blazing] flame

سَيَصْلَىٰSayasla
نَارًۭاnaran
ذَاتَthata
لَهَبٍۢlahabin
وَٱمۡرَأَتُهُۥحَمَّالَةَٱلۡحَطَبِ٤
Saheeh International

And his wife [as well] - the carrier of firewood.1

وَٱمْرَأَتُهُۥWaimraatuhu
حَمَّالَةَhammalata
ٱلْحَطَبِalhatabi
فِيجِيدِهَاحَبۡلٞمِّنمَّسَدِۭ٥
Saheeh International

Around her neck is a rope of [twisted] fiber.
